@@mikehall1995 numbers don’t mean shit, drake is a sellout who only cares about numbers and that’s why he now releases half-assed projects and catchy/repetitive songs. Kendrick doesn’t really care about numbers and actually puts time and effort into his projects.
i think it's a quality (kendrick) over quantity (drake) debate. drake has hits that you could easily play on the aux but kendrick has songs that make you think and reflect on your life choices. whoever somebody prefers tells you a lot about them as a person
@@mikehall1995 Numbers don’t mean shit, if that’s the case The Beatles are the best rappers because they have high numbers🙄, and don’t give me that “they aren’t even rap” cause if you really did take into account rap you would have lyricism not number’s in your sentence
@@ivanfrias2605 who gives a shit about lyricism… that shit is boring “it’s hard for a black man to make it” And all the Kendrick dick suckers “damn you heard that, that’s a masterpiece … and didn’t drake pass up the Beatles on the billboards hot 100?
@@muffiefx no I didn’t, cause he is right in saying that numbers don’t always equate good music, but if you are the top streamer person on Spotify, their is no denying you are making good music that people continue to listen to. Otherwise you’d have to drop music everyday. Now first week numbers is why I agree with the first part, you can have high first week and nobody go back to it, that’s simply not the case with drake, majority of what he puts out is quality and therefore gets played a lot continuously.
Android is technically better but people still will pick iPhone overall, K-dot applies himself more in the lyrical department more, but I’m still picking Drake all day every day.
Drake fans usually don’t have an interest in broadening their musical horizons and Drake haters usually either have a superiority complex when it comes to music or they are on the Drake hate bandwagon. Obviously I prefer Kendrick.
@@dmilnes2413 that’s what I’m saying. Drake has too much great music to be unreasonably trashed on like he is. I’ll still take Kendrick over him except for Mr Morale. I prefer most Drake albums over that mess
Kendrick is authentic, drake just hops on all the street rappers stuff to portray something he’s not. A smart tactic business wise but Kendrick is more commendable in every way to me. Lyrics deeper meanings, stuff that makes you think
Drake is extremely overhated, but Kendrick is far superior in many ways. Lyricism, Concept Albums, Artistry, and many more. But we don't act like Drake isn't a good artist. IYRTITL, NWTS, Take Care, Her Loss, and maybe even Views are all, at the very least, good projects.
lyricism isnt the only part of a song, hip hop isnt abt lyricism. concept albums? drake doesnt even make those lmao, and artistry is broad and a dumb catagory
Drake fans probably only heard the popular songs from Kendrick such as HUMBLE or DNA. If they heard TPAB or GKMC at least once, they would instantly realize that Drake > Kendrick doesn't make any sense.
You guys hear his radio songs and think Drake can't rap about real life issues. I agree Kendrick is a better rapper, but the discredit for Drake is mind boggling.
One of them who didn’t give a valid reason for why Drake is better and said “Drake’s Drake?” Never let him in any parties, any interviews, or even pass him the aux once ever. Never let him DJ or play shit ever again.
Both are incredible artists, both focusing on a different strengh. Kendrick for lyricysm Drake for Sound Kendrick has 20 times better lyrics than drake, drake has 20 times more catchy songs than kendrick... end of the debate
When it comes to numbers and streams, Drake. Actual overall TALENT, the Kendrick. Drizzle ain't got no gk, mc or TPAB and he has little lyrical talent. Kendrick forever 🐐.
Damn never seen so many W takes in the comment section Kendrick obviously slams drake. K dot is up there in top 5 debate. Everyone knows it. Drake? Rarely.
Hip Hop is like marathon. You win in last. When all of those road you run through “ Time will tell who’s best. And for me kendrick is far superior to drake in terms of artistic ability. But drake has numbers to back him up. But in long run. People will choose uniqueness over number. We know far way lass than rich people than a special one ☝️
