I know right? I used to main kat in league and recently got into nier and now into drakengard, and im quite amazed this person is the same VA as kat :D
You know, Micheal and Mikhail really do feel like the same person at different points in life. Mikhail is 1 year old, he's literally a baby, I can totally see him growing up to be just like Michael after thousands of years and I can see Michael being just like Mikhail when he was that young
In the intoner memoirs that takes place after ending D we get Mikhail being a bit like Micheal when people say he is there divine guardian he retorts says listening to there stuff all day and he does make human friends like Micheal In a way they secretly are rather and son and I guess the disciples play the role of stepfather from how they all inform and try to guide him
When Zero said “It was a lot of fun” I remembered Mikhail’s Final conversation with her in Ending E when he said “I had a lot of fun” ... and I wonder if Michael’s memories are still there just buried deep and Mikhail could get them back if he became as wise and powerful as Michael was? We’ll never know 😭😭😭
I figured it at last what Zero's final voiceover means! Michael would not dare betray her, because he has done it before and could not bear to do it again!
This game happens before Drakengard 1 from what I can gather. That, and some speculate that the Queen Beast fought in DoD1 could be the same from DoD3... P.S. This franchise is called Drag-on Dragoon in Japan. Hence DoD
@@MarkATorres1989 I don't think it's rough or crazy, just confusing due to every game having at least 4 route splits. (with a 5th one being added via novels and whatnot most of the time)
Chronologically D3 comes from before D1 and D2, as Pacts only became a thing after Zero manages to perform one in one of her story branches which then becomes a core part of D1. D1 is the canonical kickoff for the Nier storyline as one of its endings (oddly enough the bogus joke one that was written) results in the Queen Beast being fought and killed in then modern day Tokyo, which leads to WCS and towards humanity's extinction. D2 a lot of people don't really regard as any type of canonical ending to the Drakengard series as Yoko Taro was not the director for the game, thus they went a different direction for a lot of it. It's never proven if what the Flower becomes and the Queen Beast are the same thing, but it's highly speculated that due to some of the wibblywobblytimeywimey stuff happening in zero's singularity it could be the same. D1 if you count Caim's birth as the beginning of it, happens roughly 100 years ish after the events of D3. So it's not Caim we see. A lot of folks skip over D2 though because the more popular storyline is D3 -> D1 -> NieR G/R -> Nier:Automata.
@@christalee9875 Dang... that is a rough timeline... though I already put Nier G/R and Nier automata on the right line. I am still flabbergast to learn that Nier and D are in the same universe at times.
