I’m tending to think Rhodes didn’t wreck Ecles on purpose. If he was tight, he would have to try to hold it to the left. Bowman had a similar issue with somebody at New Hampshire a couple years ago.

My take: Rhodes didn't lie about the truck pushing towards the wall and he definitely had the wheel cranked trying to keep it off the wall. The catch is that it's highly probable Rhodes thought he was for sure gonna catch the wall and wanted to make sure he took the 18 with him.

99 should have been black flagged and removed from the race

What pisses me off was how much room Rodes has between him and the wall and ekes. Ekes gave Rodes a ton of room as well and Rodes decides to turn hard left into him

Just what did, the Muzzled driver, of the 99 truck say??? Looked Pissed!!!

First, I have no idea what I'm talking about so just ignore the following comments but... The first wreck looked like Gilliland kept pushing him up to pass and get Rhodes out of the groove. Rhodes was justified in holding his ground because he is the passee and not the passer but maybe in the wrong turn and situation. I call that a "racing" deal. From the first moment I saw the second wreck into Eckes, it looked like Rhodes was trying to save it from the wall and overcorrected into Eckes who just happened to be there. If you watch it in slowmo at the end, you can see his tire marks behind his truck coming through the turn where he was starting to come around. I don't think he meant to do it. If you look, his rear end was coming around avoiding the wall and the hit on Eckes saved him and straightened him out. He was going to lose it and that track is famous for losing it out of turn 4 and entering the straightaway. Just my opinion but I do see some evidence of that and his words at the end did not sound like someone who was mad at Eckes.

i mean, by the end of the turn, eckes was completely where rhodes used to be, way up the track in his line. im not saying that justifies what he did, but eckes drove him way up the banking and you can see the 99 all over the place on corner exit. however he without a doubt dumped him and could have saved it

Ben Rhodes should be parked for the and demoted from his finishing position and maybe for half of next season. Because that of what he said about Christian Eckes is unacceptable. He didn't do anything wrong. Ben is just pointing out the blame on Eckes but we all know that it was all Rhodes.

Both of the KBM trucks should be parked. Eckes ran Rhodes up the track all the way through turn four. Eckes has already stated he going to relaliate. Then Clements goes out and makes a retaliation hit during the race.
