Nah as a black woman who’s been through DV, what Carena is doing is totally different with her being in the public light. She bashed him and came back to him publicly knowing she has kids following her. To me if she forgave him in private that would be normal, but the fact she did a sit down RU-vid video gives money hungry. plus it’s hard to give carena grace when jaydayoungan knocked his prego girlfriend out and she still decided to date him after that all came out.

I get where ur coming from and I agree. It truly pisses me off how we as a black community treat domestic violence. It’s honestly disgusting how someone will sit and watch a black women be abused bc they don’t wanna get involved. But I feel like carenas situation is so different because she left and told the internet and got support. People were literally on her side, even his friends. But then she’s turning around doing this. She has young impressionable teens and kids watching her and she’s setting a horrible example. I truly believe men aren’t going to stop being abusive, it’s not happening anytime soon. Literally all we can do is get tf up and leave. It’s hard and rough Ik, I grew up watching a abusive relationship on a day to day basis. Like u said it was barely physical it was verbal, mental and emotional. The longer u stay the harder it gets to leave. And we can only help so much, sometimes all we can do is tell someone how dumb they are being and hope they see it too.

We have to take accountability that WE ALLOW things to happen to us when WE could’ve removed ourself before it got TO DEEP!!!!!
