I'm a dramatic and I can say that the most crucial rule is: Structure. Structural from thick materials are the best for me. 😊

I'm soft dramatic. And it's so crazy to me because everything you say is true. I naturally have figured out what looks good on me over the years, and it aligns with everything you have said. I have sooo many long jackets and cardigans because they just look good on me. I never buy thick sweaters because they just look weird. I have an arsenal of thin turtlenecks, my favorite being a black and white striped one. Bomber jackets and cropped jackets don't look good unless it's a leather jacket, which is the only shorter jacket I own now. Almost all my shoes have a pointed toe. I bought a pair of platform Mary Janes about a year ago and have only worn them once because they just look strange on me, and now I get why. Lol. In the winter, I tend to wear high waisted seamless leggings with a thick waistband and light material turtlenecks/mockneck tops for the gym. Thank you for all the super helpful content. It's super validating and giving me new ideas all the time!

UK so mix of weather, recently we had a heatwave 30C sun sunkiss from summer and now its a bit colder but still ok with random rain. I dont mind rain unless it last longer than a week 😅and hate windy weather

Hi Aly, thanks a lot for your great work. I'm DC, but most of your recommendations apply to me as well, except for the length of the clothes...i like to wear cardigans, that are up to the first hipbone or a little bit longer. I live in Germany and the Temperatures in autumn usually vary between 20 degrees Celsius in September and around 5-10 in November (let's see what's in store for us this year in terms of climate change). Here in Spain autumn is pretty nice, as all our seasons (except summer)! Just like Aly, at 22-23 degrees I need a jumper or some cardigan. Here in the south our summer and winter is larger that I'ld like, I love autumn outfits but I just can enjoy them for less than 2 months 😅

Very extreme weather in the desert. i wish I could layer more clothing as i love wearing blazers and jackets.

In Montana here. We normally have snow early in October; fall always seems very short lived. It is still warm but will cool dramatically by months end. Digging out my scarves and fall jackets. Thank you for this interesting video.

ALLY, CHALLENGE: could you pls do a Business / Smart Business Outfit Guide for the body types? I mean creative manager positions in office or as a consultant. So it should not look sloppy or show a lot of skin. I think about more modest, very clean and sharp lines, turtle necks for example, which all could be very tricky for SN! Is there something to soften or balance it? THANK YOU :)

Where I live it stays hot well into fall, maybe a few weeks of sweater weather, then by December it gets cold and damp if we're lucky enough to get rain 😅 Great video, some of these suggestions work for dramatic classics too, I think 😊

I'm in Ireland so 23 is pretty much summer for us! I'd be wearing a shirt or t shirt. Now it's about 16 - 18°C and I'm just wearing a light jacket or jumper.

I'm in Central Europe, it should be around 15 degrees (Celsius) at this time of year, but it has been around 25 degrees in the last days and weeks, and the forecast for next week is similar... So I don't think I'll have the chance to wear many autumn clothes this year....

On scarves you suggested using a color that contrasts with your skin tone. Does that mean wear a cool color scarf against warm skin toned face etc?

No, contrast means darkness and lightness. If you have light face you can choose darker scarf

My biggest challenge is to combine my Soft Dramatic Type with my Ingenue Essence and my Ethereal Essence 🙈🙈🙈 Do you have any advice for me? That would be such a gift!

hey, fellow kibbe and essense sister! My ethereal is stronger than ingenue as i feel. If briefly, as i see it now, the connections are: SD = long curved lines, semi-light flowy fabrics. Can be much applied to ethereal. If to use some pastel colors (or the lightest you can pull off) and to let in some ingenue into accessory zone, it can all be pretty harmonious. Just decrease a glamour of SD a bit in days you want to be more of any your essences. (I wear some shortish flowy dresses with etereal/ingenue midsize print like butterflies, pastelle, muted colors. Not doll-like. Looks nice) Good luck, enjoy being you ❤

Not nessicarily, depends on how Tall you Look, and your most present feature... you are probably not dramatic , flamboyant natural or soft dramatic, but you could still be one of the other Types. most likely is one of the gamine or romantic types though

Check if your hands are big (yang) or small (yin) for your body, for example. Also check if your ribcage looks wide (a natural feature). Or maybe you're balanced and everything looks proportional (classic).
