Hey guys and welcome to my channel!
In today’s skincare video I am sharing my first impressions of the ECOOKING peeling mask. I have experience with chemical exfoliators, but this was definitely next level and shocking for me. This product is a very strong chemical exfoliator which works with AHAs and lactic acid. Many people call this the STORNGER version of The Ordinary's AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution .

Thank you so much for this video! You're a life saver! I got a sample of the mask used it first time for 7 minutes, was just going by the instructions written on the sample packaging, expected a bit of redness, but my face is now bright red and feels really hot!! I am hoping that it will be okay in the morning!!

Im happy it helped but sad to hear u experienced the same thing😕 im sure it will go away in max a few hrs, but avoid any AHAs BHAs or any chemical exfoliants in the upcoming days not to irritate your skin more!😊

@@VIVENCS Maybe you can try one more time. I washed it after 10 minutes from the first time, because I am currently using TO AHA+BHA weekly and my skin is used to chemical peel. Got a little redness, not to crazy and it went away in a few minutes. My Skin is still glowing today (from Saturday.)

@@enacheadriana654 I was also used to AHA's before this and I actually have absolutely no reaction to TO AHA+BHA with 2x 10min weekly use. I think there must be sth about this that my skin doesnt like, but I will definetely try it when my TO will be empty :)

This product is amazing for me, it does feel like it’s burning and it turns red but it does say on the package that it is normal. I have partly sensitive skin and the redness went away in a couple of minutes. Love your video thought!

I am very happy to hear that because I still have high hopes for this product!😄 when my ordinary peel runs out I will give it another try. My friend actually just said the same last week, that her redness went away super fast, but my 2 hr burn was too shocking to do it again anytime soon 😅 and thank you so much, im so happy to hear that❤️❤️

Hi dear , I bought this product, so I don’t know after 5 to 10 minutes applying shall I wash it of or applying moisturiser? Please guide me 🙏

Hey☺️ if it is your first time i wouldnt leave it on any longer than 5 mins MAX, then wash it off very carefully and add a good (heavy/rich) moisture ☺️ nothing with BHA or AHA after using this for a few days

It’s important to remember that you shouldn’t use this type of products on wet face, I suppose that the humidity under the shower made your experience worse. You should always test products like this one with the “patch test”, so you’ll know more or less what to expect when you’ll apply it your whole face. Always use spf 50 when you’re leaving the house if you’re using this type of products. They can be your best friends, you just have to play safe :)

I literally just used this tonight (got a sample) and immediately washed it off after 1min and started crying because my skin felt like it had been burned. I have never experienced something like this, and I use BHAs on a daily basis. Of course I started googleing reviews and thankfully stumbled upon your video! 🙏🏼 I’m still really red even as I type this comment, hopefully it will get better... Thanks for this video! 😊

I am so sorry to hear your experience :/ but you shouldn't worry, as i said in the video i had it the same way and in a few hrs the redness disappeared. Although the sensitivity stayed for days on, so I would advise you to stay away from products that have any AHAs and BHAs for at least 5 days, because very likely your skin will have a reaction for those. as a silver lining i am happy that my bad experience could calm you a bit :D I hope your skin will be okay soon :)

VIVENCS thank you! My skin is feeling better, very glowy :) but I wouldn’t want to go through that just to get luminous skin :)) At the moment I’m just using a simple moisturizer, no acids. Have a great day! 🙏🏼❤️

Thanks for this video. I've got this product in my Goodie box some months ago but I haven't used because just the smell told me could me really strong for my skin which is sensitive. For now and after watching your experience I think I'll pass from getting a glowy skin hehe 🧡

I had a sample of this! I used it for 4-5 minutes on the clock. I don’t have sensitive skin at all and I got the worst redness of my life that persisted for 2 hours!! I was SHOCKED and actually scared! Took three days for my skin to recover. Yes, skin was glowing. But definitely not worth it!!!!! Never again haha

ahh im am sorry to hear that but i am kinda relieved that I wasn't alone with this.. :D:D for me the next day was already fine look wise, but as u said in needed many days for it to be recovered (i couldn't even use my AHA serums/creams/toners) right now i am very happy with the peeling solution from the ordinary, have u tried it?

I got this product and tried it. My face went tomato red and it was stinging a little bit it went away within 30 minutes. There should be instructions on the bottom of the container- you peel it off.

Yeah it definitely should have more clear instructions and caution on the package! I was truly shocked and scared after using it😅 but putting that aside - it does work amazingly on the skin

I bought a sample pot of this and my skin is burning lol. I panicked and Googled it 😂 I put like 4 layers of aloe Vera gel on because I have college tomorrow and can’t risk it being red when I wake in the morning. I have now used a facial wipe to take off any remaining gel (my skin was absorbing it so fast I had to keep putting more layers of aloe on) and now my skin has calmed down a lot and I’m going to try it again when I don’t have somewhere to be the next day lol

Haha i think most viewers found this the same way as you did - panic google-ing😂😅 but im happy to hear that ur skin is getting better! Try avoiding any exfoliator for a week to be sure😊

I have use this now 3 times, no redness at all.. And my skin look very good. Everytime i leave it 5minutes on my skin.. It thinkle little bit first but no redness at all...

Sorry to hear that! I hope it got better😊 next time try it for a shorter time and apply a lot of moisturizer/ cooling gel on it - that helped me

I think it might be okay for you to use it, but you should definetely “train” your skin first. Fx with the ordinary’s peeling solution so you grow your tolerance for chemical peels☺️

I’m doing a hard pass right now. I imagine I’ll end up in the ER and the hospital is the last place I want to be with what’s going on. I’ve only been using superfoods and natural products on my face. Maybe in the future I will try. Thanks for your honest review. ♥️
