@@dbkparm That announcer is in the USBC hall of fame and actually knows what the hell he's talking About. Me and amongst many people knew what he meant. Get over it.
GraduatingIn2020 you are so right. It’s always our best shots that seem to fall short of striking. I was bowling in league yesterday and I left a ringing ten pin after doubling in the tenth. It looked so good and I could’ve done what Jason often does: walk it out.
@@alanmoffitt3591 He didn't verbally say it but his expression on his face said it. 😂Lol because the guy was like "I threw it good, I don't know how I missed it" something like that. Go back and watch
Quality vid, i could watch this all day. This could easily be a series! Norm duke vs koivuniemi where miku misses the 10 pin, the game where randy peterson leaves the stone 8, the 2 games in a row wes mallot won by 1 pin in the playoffs, belmo beating butturf for his 11th major, etc.
I collect sounds of bowling pins collapsing. I can tell you by sound a lone whether it's a ringing ten, Greek church, or anything. My collection is the largest in the world, as far as I know, and includes some of the rarest strikes in professional bowling history. I have the masters. It may sound strange but my collection has well passed paid for itself - whenever Hollywood makes a movie or films in a bowling alley - it's a nightmare for Foley artists because they can't replicate it. These recordings have put my kids through college.
2009 National Bowling Stadium.... Walter Ray against Patrick Allen.... Walter needs a strike to win and gets a pocket 8-10 to lose. That was a dramatic ending there
Park side bowl is the only bowling alley that has the same drop downs as my old bowling alley I worked at as head mechanic. It’s literally a spitting image of the bowling alley I worked in. I hate that palace with a burning passion
finding it interesting as I get older that the men on tour are getting more ball speed, more revs more hook etc etc, and the women are out there with low speed, low revs and over exaggerated follow throughs and still getting it done.
I know there’s a lot of dramatic endings in the PBA but here’s some for another Top 10: Walter Ray vs Patrick Allen in the 2009 National Bowling Stadium Championship when Walter Ray 8-10’d 2011 (i think) U.S Open Norm Duke vs Mika Kouiviememi (butchered last name) 2009 King of Swing (Third Show) Walter Ray vs Bill O’Neil
@@coopergates9680 there is lot of talented bowlers In finland but they are not good enough to pba tour as koivuniemi and palermaa. Many have tried but not succeeded
9:05 It looked so good to him because he stepped way over to the left to watch it. Actually it was a low hit that completely missed the 5 pin and got all it deserved.
I love the look on Rash's face when Dick Allen tripped that 2-pin. Pure crybaby. Moral of the story: if you can do it with a pencil you can do it with a bowling ball. Earth to Sean Rash: make your spares!
According to Ryan it came off his hand perfectly... he had no idea why that ball waggled downlane. I think he and Brett Spangler checked Specto ... same speed and a half board difference between his last shot that struck on that lane and the light bucket loser. It was hard to watch, he was genuinely surprised, even felt betrayed. Belmo’s a competitor, he wasn’t ready to feel sorry for him because he had a job to do that day...
I had to rewind and watch that Kretzer shot about 56 times to try and come to terms with the fact that just happened and trying to figure out how lmao, unreal.
Holy shit, after the 60th time watching it that was the one pin that got knocked up into the air by the bowling ball rolling through and hit it at just the right angle to knock it off the boards and send it in to the 9 pin, insane.
Justin does Directv foreign disc and windows videos It would defeat the purpose of doing a series like this and I want to continue this series. Thanks for suggesting though!

nice video (as always!) ps. you might miss 2017 Oklahoma Open in Marshall Kent vs Chris Barnes, go check it out. pretty dramatic ending Happy New Year 2020 to you all from Thailand!
matt o'grady well I hope to see you return to full form again. I wish you a speedy recovery. Probably my favorite form of any bowler. If I might ask. Do you think you’ll return to the PBA?
4:35. Looks like Rash is abandoning the ground game and going to the air. It should be illegal, especially on venerable wood lanes. If you yeet it over the dots you should get zero for that shot.
