These guys don't know what is in store for them when they get to my age. I crashed like this many times. Now, at 70, I do pain management every day 7 days a week. Would I do it again? Damn right I would. In fact, I'd love to do a hot lap on one of these bikes. Cheers, Bill#187
I know how you feel . Never done speedway but was addicted to bikes and speed for many years . 65 and had surgery on my left arm and a metal plate in my forearm . Plan to buy my last bike but it will be a street bike and plan to just ride slower . Left arm broken in 4 places right only twice and had my teeth cut through my lip but doctors did a good job on fixing me up . Just want to ride a little longer have ridden sense the age of 14 . But still feel up to it just slower and carefully . Pain is just a reminder we are still alive . Ride on amigo and be safe .
Never noticed this racing before....reminds of the flat-trackers here in US when I was a kid,but we ran three times as many bikes in the field. Looks like fun,though,need to find more about it. Is this Speedway GP form of racing popular ?
Yes it is very popular in Poland as well they have their own league like we do in the UK. Many international or even British drivers do go over to Poland as it can be better. There are many tracks in the uk that have their own teams and then go head to head within nationalities even in British teams there are international drivers in them.
