Dravid, I met him in 1993-94 when he passed out of his college and started playing for India Cements club in TNCA 1st Division. Same level headed and humble. Wishing you a great and healthy life.
Any Remuneration can't get a Rahul - the Best Individual. He prove all the fundamentals right. Brings respect to sincerity. Rahul goes into past, but remain in History. Most lovable and respectable person. Fortunate are his parents. And near and dear as well. He stands tall. In great company of Saurav. Winner of his faith and confidence. He did wonders with juniors team and with seniors. He has the ability to bend and capability to mend.
Rahul Dravid a lot to learn from you SIRJI me even as 60 years old - meaning being a great person in almost all aspects of life yet so humble - a true representative of humanity just not of just India or Indians.

@@POCHINKISUMESH The best thing I noticed about India after victory.... Is how humbly they celebrated their success...... Having tears in their eyes...... No exaggeration..... No cringe jumping..... Just class and grace..... Celebrated world cup win low-key..... So good for the eyes...... Sirr neechay..... Kaam oper...... I adore these lads..... Love from Pakistan 🫣🥰❤️❤️❤️☺️
@@Enigma_MaleYou know what...I used to wait for him to come to bat just to see his skill, i mean the way he used to leave the balls, sheer confidence no matter which bowler he was facing....
Cricketers may come and go... But gentlemen cricketers remain forever in our hearts. Rahul Dravid is a gem as a cricketer but he is a human being of a very high stature. Thank you, Dravid for being the most selfless and d most reliable and down to earth gentleman of cricket.

Dravid & the team management wanted the batting depth, it paid dividends. Dravid was unfortunate not to win a WC as a player, I'm super glad he's managed to do it as a coach. Well done great man.
As a die hard Dravid Fan i was waiting and sometimes hoping to feel this.Dravid sir won't admit to his greatness and downplay it like he has done always. But it feels so personal and so good to see him ecstatic and celebrate.
What a humble and selfless servant of Indian Cricket. Sir, I have met you in person (Dr @Manipal) and proudly say that we are blessed to have you as the mentor and coach of the Indian team. You inspire the whole nation and we will always be grateful to you for your smiling and selfless services.

What a guy! True legend. He will be remembered for his sacrifices, humility, and above all his cricketing acumen. He was a fantastic player and now he has added a feather in his cap to be a great coach.
2:30 TO TOXIC INDIAN CRICKET FANS: Rahul Dravid talks of how he tried hard but was "NOT LUCKY" to win a trophy but he worked hard and there are so many good players who didn't. "IT IS A PART OF SPORT." Dravid or Ganguly are NOT LOSERS, NOT BAD CAPTAINS because they were unable to win a trophy. So Indian fans NEED TO STOP JUDGING AND TROLLING hardworking players when the team does not win. It is NOT always the teams fault if they lose. Sometimes the other team is just luckier. STOP THE TOXICITY AND LEARN TO SEE A GAME AS JUST THAT... A GAME!
Yup. There are some giants of the game like kumble, James Anderson, Kallis, ganguly etc who don't have a world cup but are all time goated players. Winning a trophy needs lot of things to go right.
@@shobu10 India lost the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy to New Zealand. But both Ganguly and Dravid won the Champions Trophy in 2002 as India and Sri Lanka were declared co-champions when both days were rained out (although India would have won it if it didn't rain on both nights).
Hitman and Virat dono ne ek sath T20 Cricket se retirement kyo liya Aaj India ke World Cup jitne ki khushi h but sath main Ro- Ko ke jane ka dukh bhi h 😢
What a gentleman. If ever I want my kid to idolize someone it would be Rahul Dravid. Keeping aside the talent and achievement he would still be known around the world for being a great human being
Because the next targets are icc Champions trophy 🏆2025 ,wtc 2025 and probably he is highly aiming at 2027 odi wc..work load is the reason behind his retirement...off course he is 37 now...and there will be no better moment for him to signing off than this....
Thankyou Rohirat 💙❤️ T20Is will not be same without you two 😭💔 Will be Missed a lot.... Heart craves more to see you on the field 😭 Love You to the core Rohirat 😭
Real chakde moment for Dravid Lost the wc as a captain with early exit from Group stage , resigned and some months later dropped from odi 17 years later came to the same carribbean islands with Haunted memories and won it as a coach ❤..
In 2007 WC in west Indies- as a captain his got out of the tournament in first round. In 2024 T20 WC in West Indies- as a coach his team won the world cup. What an end of a champion, a legend who will be remembered forever.
What a legend kitna dil liver kidney lenge made me so emotional for the amount of resolve as a coach and aa a person he has done for indian cricket ❤️🙏👏
Rahul Dravid is an exceptional human being. Very grounded, disciplined, focused, humble and committed. Always a Hero. An epitome of what a person should ideally be.
How humble Rahul Dravid is , though being a world class player and now being the head coach he never claims any glory, same time we have Jay shah who doesn’t even know how to hold a bat claiming all limelight. Indian team has given Dravid a good gift.
Boss be thankful for even the BCCI leadership. They don’t interfere in team selection or any other cricketing matters. You compare that to any other South Asian cricketing boards. The President and secretary hire and wire at will.
I had the fortune of interacting with Dravid way back in the 1997-98, if i remember the year correctly at Taj Coromendal hotel in Chennai where the team was staying. I found him to be totally down to earth and very very humble. He is always level headed and cool. His coaching the Indian team proved a roaring success. Congratulations to him and his tesm for winning the coveted T20 cricket world cup yesterday. God bless him and his team.
@@SatyendraSinghrafiThanks for correcting me. I don't remember the year. I was instructed by my Bank GM to pick Sunil Joshi from the hotel. His room was locked. Dravid asked me politely who I was looking for. I told him Sunil Joshi. He requested me to sit in the lobby. He came back and told me Joshi went for breakfast. I was a P. R. O for my bank. Rahul hasn't changed a bit. I consider him and Azharuddin very very humble.
Aise hi nahi Rahul Dravid ka doosra naam 'The Wall ' rakha gaya hai.. He is truly the wall.. This man deserved this trophy more than anyone else. He was badly scrutinized for the 2007 world cup failure but his dedication and love to win for the country made him win even if it was as a coach.. A true Chak de India moment ❤

True justice for Dravid. He has been truly a Wall for Team India over years. It was time for him to be part of that cherished 🏆 to hold . Chak de India
This man has been my hero... Even when the great tendulkar was around. The mans hardwork, sincerity, his humility, his soft spoken nature, his commitment, his gentlemanly demeanour, his determination, his ability to be a mentor.. Always made me look upto him, if not as an amazing talent, but as an amazing model humanbeing.. Best wishes for your future...whatall adventure's it will bring including your son Tanmay playing for the national team! That is the next in line for you, i hope 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Don’t be so kind to them Rahul. You’re a champion and that was your job ultimate goal. Love this team all you lads are my absolute favourite cricketers for especially having the mentality to make a win the only choice you ever give yourself. Win or lose this is champion stuff and that’s what you guys get.
Congratulations Vimal ji! I am sure that while we are all so happy, you are the happiest of all! Aapki mehnat rang layi! Cup lekar ghar aa rahe ho! Swagat!
He should not be a minister in BJP/rss rule.Atleast educationalists should be added his story of (failure in 2007 as a captain in West Indian soil and great success as a coach as same West Indian soil) in school, college books
When a team wins a trophy the first person who's acknowledged is the captain and then the players who have made it possible to win the match. But, we often overlook the hardwork put by the coach. Even today Rahul didn't take any credit for the win but gave the credit to the captain and the team. When he was playing for India he never took credit inspite of him being the reason for winning the match but instead gave credit to the rest of the team. He's still the same. Humble to the core.Isn't it time that we as fans should give credit to his efforts? Well done, Rahul Dravid for your efforts you put for the team and you will be truly missed. I don't think Indian team will find another legendary coach as Rahul Dravid.
Hats off to you Dravid. Please excuse cricketers get together n run BCCI, knock out the politicians who have not held a bat or ball in their hands, scored a single run for the country.
That’s a classic ending ❤thank you Rahul sir for putting together a team that could bring the laurels to India. Credit is due to your coaching! This WC has shown that coach plays a key roll. Under you the team played a champions inning. ❤👍🫶👏
Take a Bow Rahul Dravid Sir...a committed person, sportsman, team-man, and a coach... I had been and always be your Fan for my lifetime.... Thank you for everything . Thank you Virat and Rohit .. Both the legends retiring at this high moment...though it's a heart break...Wishing them all the best
The Great WALL of Indian Cricket stands strong. The Redemption question has been in mind since yesterday, and all over the YT comments. It was West Indies 2007, when India got knocked out in early stages, Dravid was the captain. I remember how disappointed the whole nation was then. The Wall has defended the question with the language he is supposed to say at his position. The Wall may deny it, but for fans it is a redemption moment. ❤
Under rahul dravid india player wtc final , world cup 50 over final and t20 wc semi final and this t20 wc triumph finally.....he is far underrated as coach
