I’ve seen houses and units. If people are more inclined to live in units these days does it not make sense to offer units over houses ?

I'm practically an empty nester so while a 4- or 5-bedroom house may LOOK fantastic, I reckon it would be completely impractical for me, and I suspect a lot of others, too. I like the idea of a 2-br apartment, especially one with a great balcony and stunning views. I buy RSL Art Union tickets because I love the dream. If I was just going to sell the place, well, where's the fun in that? I might as well just buy a lotto ticket.

Council & Water rates = $3,867/year Body Corporate = $8,055/year Total Fees = $11,922/year Property value = $3,162,000 Rental return = $62,400 Rate of return after approx fees = 1.5% (i.e. horrible) I sort of doubt the apartment is going to increase much in value so capital gains will be minimal Better to sell the place and chuck it in a bank and make 5% interest. Happy to win. $250k gold is always a welcome addition, especially with apartments. BC fees are annoying. I wonder how often those external windows are washed. There's so (too) many of them. Maybe that's why the BC is high lol. Would have preferred a more open balcony with optional shutters or something. You'd probably be able to make that 3rd room into a bedroom if need be.

Body corp fee and council charges are very reasonable but the rental Yield is definitely horrible.

The apartment number is 12402 and as I see it the breakdown is as follows: Building 1; Floor 24; Apartment 02.

I agree that RSL needs to make homes the prize instead of apartments. I know I would prefer to win a house than a flat

this isnt a flat, its an apartment with high end finishings in a billion dollar development. Beach right at your door step and walking distance to most places. houses on the beach will cost you 20 million easily in this area
