i swear, every youtubers draw my life has divorced parents.

Watching this in June 2015 has made me so happy because of how far Tyler has come he's been on The Ellen Show, he attended the Grammys, he's written his book, he has raised in total over 1 million dollars for suicide prevention, and has over 7 million subscribers and I just can't wait to see how far he goes because I know he will go even farther

thanks so much for uploading this video. it's comforting to know that there are others out there who struggle with the same problems as I do. I too have an eating disorder that I'm constantly battling. it has made my life miserable to the point where I turned to self harm and needed medication to get out of bed every morning. while I'm still struggling with my demons, having others to share the same pain with makes recovery a lot less difficult.

In Secondary school everyone called me gay, So i said "Yes, Yes i am, got a problem with that", after i told them nobody messed with me because once they knew that i was gay calling me gay was the truth and didn't offend me.

Looking back at this, remembering one of the first if not the first Draw my life video I saw, I am both sad but also very grateful. I remember watching this, I was only about 9 or 10 when this came out, and I can't say enough how this video and a few other Draw my life videos have made me into the person I am today. Tyler Oakley showed me how much it was okay to express who you truly are and how much that will make you happier at the end of it all, that has been part of my soul deep down ever since. I can't thank you enough for all the amazing videos you made back then, and this Draw my life. I can't imagine how many years have passed since this video's release. So many things have happened.

At school today me and three of my friends decided to make a poster on gay pride. Our motto/slogan was "you wouldn't judge a straight person so why judge a gay one" it makes me more sad that angry that some people don't understand that love is love no matter what gender. 🌈🌈

All these people hating on gays doesn't make you a better person. I'm a Christian and while by the bibles standards it does say that gays are supposed to go to hell but if Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and if being gay is a sin, that means that they are taken care of. Don't judge someone because of their sexual preference and don't try to change them because you don't like who they are. They can't change so don't force them to.

aww I didn't know he had an eating disorder. That makes me love him more than before. I had anorexia and bulimia and I know how it feels not loving yourself and not accepting how you are but now I'm recovering from them and, apart from my family, people like Tyler are who helped me the most

I'm christian, but i know that he still has a shot to go to heaven if he is gay. God still loves all of, no matter what, and will try to bring us all up there with him. I'm bi, and my church friends keep saying that I might go to hell, and every week i keep believing that, so I try to live my life to the fullest, even thiugh i can't do much since i live with a poor-ish family

Honestly this inspires me personally because I live in Michigan. It always seems as if no one cares about Michigan. I’m glad to see that he became successful from this small state. Honestly this is fucking incredible for me!

I'm so happy you have gotten so far in life. You deserve this. I just want to tell you that I know how you felt about the whole eating situation. I have been dealing with eating disorders off and on for about 2 and a half years now so I am very sorry you had to go through that. I love you ❤️

What if he's gay? I too follow a religion, and that religion is god. Religion is not outside, it's inside you. There are more than 7 billion people on this Earth who have different interests. When god didn't do any partiality in making people the way they are, why are we doing partiality in accepting the way they are? So.... you're saying that you are 'making fun' of god's creation? I would've never imagined you went through an eating disorder because you seem so happy Tyler & I say this because I'm suffering from an eating disorder & I'm so miserable!!! I too had unhealthy eating habits before so I decided enough was enough & went on a "healthy, clean eating" weight loss journey. I lost so much weight that I became obsessive with exercise and eating super healthy. After so many tears and fighting I then recovered from that eating disorder but I am now on the other side of the spectrum where I eat even worse than when I started, super unhealthy and can't control it. It's such a struggle and it seems like it'll never end. I hope I can come out of it like you Tyler.

I don't get why people are telling him that he is wrong for being gay. He is gay and I doubt anything you say about God hating him for it (which God doesn't) or thinking it's wrong is going to change it. He should be whoever he wants to be. Let him love who he wants to love freely. Tyler is amazing.
