The apologies around the complexity of the system seems a bit moot. Comparing this to any experienced rpg player playing a new system it looked smooth. Even more when you consider this is effectively a lvl 3/5 party vs d&d rules. And actually it felt more of a "oh I forgot this power" than a truly "idk what I'm doing"
Thank you for the comment. The disclaimer is because we're aware that this could the first impression of the system for many viewers. And if it looks smooth the first time we're using it, we're hopeful it'll get even better as it gets polished and we learn it better.
It is Roll20. We used it only for tokens and maps. The rest was on paper or Pdfs. Same with the dice. We used real ones or the basic roll20 dice roller.
We're using Roll20 just for maps, tokens, and dice-rolling for now, as we await the official VTT in the future! We use form-fillable pdfs and printed character sheets to keep track of everything.
Hi! Helena here, Glasses player. I don't think Glasses is trans, not at least the way we humans are, but I do think she belongs to a species and society with a very different understanding of gender and sexuality than ours, which is what I'm trying to imply/roleplay with her. Glasses' pronouns are she/they, btw 😉
