That’s a good question. The short answer is no. I cut them because the drawer slides are “full extension” so if you want the full range of that extension I make the notches in the front of the drawer box. When the finished face of the drawer is integrated and not screwed on, I obviously don’t make the notch. Review the specs on the slides you decide, to make sure you build accordingly. I used Blum Movento slides in this case.
