Drawers with Laser Equipment Popping Out / Laser Engraving Machine / IKIER / DIY 

Hello, everyone. this is Kynosys. I collaborated on a laser engraver with a company called IKIER. It's a small piece of equipment, but it performs quite well. I think it will be useful for carving letters or cutting small pieces in the future. I was looking for a place to install this equipment, and I had a very interesting idea. The idea is that it would be nice to pop out of the drawer rather than occupy a place in a narrow workshop. Just in time, the lower part of the work called my sanding base is very wide, so I decided to go there. With the drawer as the base, the table on which the lift is placed bounces forward with the pneumatic cylinder. And when I lift the lift, the laser engraver comes up to a comfortable working position. And the important part is the safety. When you're inside, the up and down button is disabled and doesn't work, but it's activated only when the table pops forward. It means you can't raise the table from the inside The moment the lift table is raised, the forward reverse switch is deactivated, and the table is not activated until the end. This means that with the table up, you can't reverse it and go inside. It is a system that can guarantee safety with a simple limit switch. I have two questions: is it possible to make the engravings when the drawer is closed? and if so, is it ventilated and filtered? and I find it a bit of a shame that the block doesn't move forward completely, I mean with the drawers? because when it is open, the drawers become inaccessible... and congratulations again for your intelligence, your manual mastery, and your stock of spare parts in all areas makes me dream...

did anyone else catch the unnecessary center finding for the holes after the outline was engraved? I always find stuff like that amusing. For future reference, you can add the center mark in the engraving file and you could engrave the outline deep enough so that you don't need to drill from both sides with the forsner bit, just from the front with a pilot drill to locate the holes on the back and then drill with the larger bit from the back and since the veneer is scored by the laser it should prevent chipout. Also, I love your builds but, you use sooooo many screws even though you use glue and nails and I can't help but think that one of those fastening methods could be eliminated.
