I approve of Jane's strategy of spelling like an American to fool everyone. I did that once playing Jackbox, and when it worked, it was one of the most clever things I feel like I've ever done.

I've more or less learned to ignore precisely how a word is spelled when reading something because I read things written by people who write with different spellings

Very impressed Andy pulled out "Happy New Year" in Cantonese at 42:14! If you want to show off even more, use that phrase "sung nin fai lok" for the calendar new year, and "Kung Hei Fat Choi" for lunar new year.

No idea why it's there either. The audio would be completely passable without, its as if they had to inject arbitrary whimsy so you knew it was a "fun" game. Annoying as hell

@@inventsable "that's kids game, kids loooove burp and fart sounds" is my guess I do hope if Outsidexbox decide to play this again they will just disable the game audio. I had to skip this one, it literally became uncomfortable to watch - not because I'm a prude but because it started to feel that something's wrong with MY stomach. Like it happens with yawning, you hear it and it makes you yawn too!

Honestly I can't tell which I hate more. Jackbox only had to make a game that does what it does, & put inoffensive, slightly pleasant Elevator Music in it. Then some JACK-BOX on the Development Team / Marketing Dept., or whatever was like "What if instead of unintrusive ambient music, we just made it 'Increasingly Intense Spiraling Circus Noise' that slowly drove everyone insane? For the one where you have to draw, I have the music being normal, but all the SFX are Burps, Farts & other weird Nonsense?" This monster apparently was promoted (bc each Jackbox game has worse sound than the last)? There should be a prompt in Drawful 3 to draw THAT person. Mine would look like: 🤪💨🤡💩👹

I thought it was because when Webster published his first "American" dictionary he changed the spelling for many words in order to separate American English from British English because if wanting to be as different from Britain as possible. I'm pretty sure that's the reason for a lot of wierd things present in Amerixan English.

We actually played this game in biology in Highschool our teacher would open a biology encyclopedia and pick out a random difficult term and have use write a definition for it in groups and that was mixed with the real definition and then we’d vote and it’s the same pretty much the same except with biology terminology

That's some avant-garde, turn-of-the-century commentary on the human condition and the horrors of the Great War. ....The most disturbing part is that Andy didn't *have* to draw most of that image. The prompt just said "Eggs for eyes"; He could have gotten away with a stick figure. The teeth... The terrifying grin and the misshapen proportions, the unnatural angle of the neck, the contrast of that civilized hat with a look of pure savagery- That was all him.

I greatly enjoyed it, but I must say this stream has left me gravely concerned. I went for Mike's answer practically every time. Does this mean I think like Mike? Or has Mike taken over my brain? Or am I.... No, the last option is too horrifying to even think on.
