Drawing 3D Shapes using Lego Technic

Hi everyone,
here's a robot drawing various different 3D-shapes depending on the configurations. It works by having 2 slightly offset rotations and a scissor mechanism that create these shapes. And the best thing is: you can build it just using the parts of the 31313 EV3 set.

I didn't notice the lack of music, so I'd say that you did a great job with editing. I'd say that if refining the videos this much consistently takes you longer than you want to spend, then I'd go back to the music (or long periods of silence-I certainly wouldn't mind). You produce great content either way, so if you can do so with less effort, why work harder than you need to?

You should try usingy pybricks and then you could level this up to a small plotter that can draw svgs or even accept an stl or obj mesh file, project the stl to wireframe using a pre camera perspective viewer to position the projection beforehand, then use IK to draw it. Python has a ton of graphic and 3d libraries so it would be so painful to use scratch, its just that multithreading can be annoying this way

Yeah, I guess the hardest thing there is getting a good plotter, and the rest is just coding. I've ordered some of the new screws (73763), maybe that could be a good way to build a plotter.

If you mount two of the motors below a platform, it would probably work similarly. But yeah, I'm considering to buy 51515 anyways, so maybe I'll use that set in future videos
