When you merge the two background layers, suddenly there's two bees. I thought I had done something wrong, and backtracked, but then I saw it happened to you too. So I guess it's normal. This was a cute tutorial!

Hello! I love yo ur tutorials! Thank you for making them, I’m curious how you get your brushes look so transparent whenever you start painting, even though you don’t change the opacity at all, it creates a softer look that’s easier to blend and when I do it, mine are so much more opaque to work with and thus create harder lines. Do you have a setting on that I am not aware of?

I usually hide the background and any shadows that are too spread out from the main image. Then I create a white layer underneath by using either the monoline brush with the streamline set high, then fill in; or I use a "select/fill/blur" technique I saw elsewhere. There's tons of tutorials on making stickers.

I have been working on this tutorial and there is something that is driving me crazy. At point 9:09 when you set the overlay on the body with the shading layer your bee looks like mine fluffy and a bit blurry. Then after at 9:13 you set the multiply and get ready to shade your bee has more defined details the fuzzy parts look much clearer hairs. Is there something I am missing because I slowed the video down, turned on captions, and could not find instructions on how to define the fuzz lines?

Sometimes when recording tutorials I re-record some parts a few times, like sometimes after doing same actions you can get slightly different results, and my editor keeps the result he likes the most, cutting some parts. Fuzziness and fluffiness depend on the density and size of the noise texture, and also on the amount of perspective blur. You can experiment with those. Also to make the fur texture sharper, you can apply Sharpen tool from Adjustments after using Perspective blur.

Thank you. I found that if I lightened up how much of the noise brush I was using it helped. I am getting the texture I was looking for. The fuzzy hairs are much more noticeable.@@Tatyworks
