I’m starting a mini series called “Slow Art”, featuring drawing. This video is the first. I hope you like it! My subject matter is the drawing of two boats moored at Constitution Dock, Hobart Tasmania.

My husband is one of the last of his generation of architects that were actually taught how to draw and letter by hand. He can also use his software of course but I looove watching him draw and letter, just like I loved watching this! I have a lot to learn, though, as I usually do the bare minimum for watercolor.

Ohh. You should video him doing this. Architects make magic with a pencil!! And yes, watercolour has it's own skills, very different. But good. :-)
