I love taking baths too, I just haven't had the time to do so in a long time. Maybe I should make time (for mental health). I also love reading graphic novels (but that too has been abandoned. Some of the graphic novels are really for mature adults! Hope you go to Japan, so you can take us with you. I have a few friends in Japan, they are such incredibly giving and friendly people. But then maybe because I only know a few friends. Your hair cut is so fitting! Love it! What does Sebi think of it? Another awesome vlog.

Your haircut looks great...it was worth the investment to go to the salon; I am not a Tik Tok user but I would follow you if I was.

Ahhh the family illustration is so cute!! That's so fun, I know some people do these sort of specialised holiday cards (at least; we have some far off family in the US and they send us cards with pictures of them every year or so haha), really good commercial idea too!!! Graphic novels are cool!! I don't know that many, but I remember The Fun Home by Alison Bechdel, which was nice and I think it was nominated or awarded too? I hope you get some more job opportunities soon, it's really cool you're expanding your network. I was wondering; when did you decide you really wanted to do this as a job/career and to really go for it (and to believe in it)?? I've been thinking of finding a less heavy job so I can focus a bit more on just creative writing, although there's a lot less money in that than illustration I think :').. but just having a job to pay bills and then taking the creative work more seriously to build that up seems nice! If you feel like talking about it of course!!!!! I really like your haircut by the way, sometimes I forget how nice it is to just have a good haircut, I'm totally gonna get my hair to a salon soon too haha!

Thanks so much! I also have relatives in the US and we also get the personalized photo cards from them for christmas :D Thanks for the graphic novel recommendation, i will check it out! About my work situation, it kind of happened naturally to have an easy job and keep busy doing my thing on a side… i moved to Berlin just after my bachelor’s in industrial design and could not find a job, was completely lost and realized I did not want to go into some industrial design technical office environment, i was obsessively crocheting at the time and just started getting into drawing. (Also my dad died that year so i think that helped me do what felt not depressing). I took a restaurant job, waitressing for 2 years (covid inbetween) and about a year or so in, i started to get little commissions which gave me hope it could go somewhere. It has been slowly progressing from there, its now been about 4 years since I really got into drawing, still doing 2 days a week at a shop and freelance jobs still not regular, but i’m getting more confident in reaching out, I’m still far from being able to live off it, but optimistic. The book project was good for that! So that is how its been for me, i have no other option now but to go for it. I can’t give you any good advice, because it is risky, but if you know you want write as a job and your day job does not allow you to do it enough and you are unhappy, its probably worth making a little change:) and yes a haircut is a good start:D
