Typically the mark scheme will ignore what you do before the first point to be plotted (have a look yourself at the mark schemes). However, my approach would usually be to go down to the beginning of the first class interval, so (50, 0).
Hi, sorry but whoever told you that is unfortunately wrong. If you look at Edexcel June 2017 Higher Paper 2, question 8, you will see a curve drawn. Also the mark scheme for AQA Higher Paper 1, question 19, again from June 2017. There may also be more questions in November but since some schools use these as mocks I won't go into detail on those.
Wow this was so easy but I just doodle in my maths book and daydream. I feel like I would be better at maths if I paid more attention. At least I have RU-vid and a maths tutor.
