・ Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People - Infinity
Koi swim on a water surface that stretches out into infinity. People can walk into the water. The movement of the koi is influenced by the presence of people in the water and also other koi. When the fish collide with people they turn into flowers and scatter. The tragectory of the koi is determined by the presence of people and these trajectories trace lines on the surface of the water.
The work is rendered in real time by a computer program, it is neither a pre-recorded animation nor on loop. The interaction between the viewer and the installation causes continuous change in the artwork. Previous visual states can never be replicated, and will never reoccur.

・人と共に踊る鯉によって描かれる水面のドローイング / Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People - Infinity
無限に広がる水面に鯉が泳いでいる。人々は水の中に入り歩くことができる。鯉は、水の中の人々の存在に影響を受け、また、他の鯉の影響を受けながら、泳いでいる。そして、鯉は、人々にぶつかると、花となって散っていく。そして、人々の存在に影響を受けて泳ぐ鯉の軌跡によって、線が描かれていく。
作品はコンピュータプログラムによってリアルタイムで描かれ続けている。あらかじめ記録された映像を再生しているわけではない。全体として以前の状態が複製されることなく、鑑賞者のふるまいの影響を受けながら、変容し続ける。今この瞬間の絵は二度と見ることができない。
