The Indian elephant part is interesting because it's a direct rip from Raichu's pokedex entry.

6kg is basically 2 to 3 Tonka Trucks per day. So the karinafarek pokemon is one of those cautionary tales parents tell their kids about putting their toys away when they're done playing in the yard. But the kids don't always listen, and then one day they're looking out a window and this house-sized pokemon has scuttled onto the lawn and is nibbling all their toy trucks away.

Karina's pokedex entry made me think of some big plant thing that grows in, like, abandoned car lots or old scrap yards. And it slowly breaks down cars for nourishment, kind of like how plants reclaim abandoned buildings n stuff ovo. Hence the slow rate of car eating and also the poison-grass typing (cuz,, idk pollution) I have no idea what the seed aspect of it would be I just wanted to share my initial idea uwu

In case anyone was wondering, the real Pokémon for Jacob’s (#761) was bounsweet, karina’s (#391) was monferno, and Julia’s (#630) was mandibuzz.

I got to say, impressive how it was Karina and Jacob who made weird freak monsters that barely resemble anything you would call a Pokémon instead of Julia

Drawing suggestion: draw each other into an isekai. Example- Nathan is king of dinosaurs in a prehistoric world; Karina uses a Digimon deck in a YuGiOh-esque dimension; Julia is a Drawtective in an isekai full of vampires; and Jacob is the leader of a bunch of little guys rebelling against hot villains.

I just wanna say, the circuit pattern combining with the turtle shell pattern is a great idea, and I nearly didn't notice it so I need to point it out for anyone who did miss it.

The Indian elephant thing is there bc that phrase used to be in Raichu's original pokedex entry. It was later retconned bc it implied that normal animals exist in the Pokémon universe. Now Raichu's entry says that they can incapacitate a Copperajah, and their design was inspired by Indian elephants.

Karina's feels like a regional variant of the gooseberry fool XD

A few additional fun facts about these Pokémon: - nathanyaffe has many regional forms. The type stays the same, only the socket and plug changes. - When walking, jacobandrews makes the same sound as the walking Nintendo N in the intro scene of Banjo-Kazooie. - 6kg of truck per day is less than a single tire. Death is extremely slow and painful for karinafarek's prey, also because it spews acid on them to aid digestion. - julialepetit is basically me, save for the fortune part (I'm also covered in moss)

I always thought of Jacob Horse as being the Pokémon version of Jacob.

the best bit about karina's pokemon is how little of a truck it eats. its 24 ft tall and weighs 1518 pounds but eats 12 pounds of multi-ton truck a day

Out of all the spelling variations, “Karina farek” has to be my favorite. It’s the cat pokemon, with the entry saying “It is a bit ferocious so it is very popular as a pet. It collects trash and carries its findings back to its den.”

I love the quiet arc of Nathan drawing himself into a corner of drawing a Koopa Paratrooper, his struggling with having to no real idea how to progress from that palpable through the incessant futzing over things like the feet. And then the great breakthrough of drawing the plug face and suddenly it all comes together.

I would love to see a cloud watching themed episode. Each artist would have a different random photo of some clouds and would have to draw over the images to bring out what they see in them.

To answer the drawfee question of "why normal animal?" it was an oversite of the first season of the animation! Basically, no one in the first few years asked if real animals were a thing, it's only towards the 2000s when the popularity started to jump that the company sat down and went "okay what are the rules in this reality we've crafted."

I'm glad that they talked about elephants being mentioned in Nathan's entry, but what trips me up even more is the mention of India in Raichu's actual dex entry

Suggestion: In the last episode, you joked about a Cheers tournament arc where they have to remember everyone’s name. What if you drew famous sitcoms as anime? An iconic Seinfeld conflict in the style of Nichijou, The Office as a Pop Team Epic style 4-koma, or I Love Lucy as a shoujo, for example.

I do like that Jacob accidentally made the suction puppies (Chaos Eater) from Dark souls, but somehow made it creepier

The KarinaFarek mostly consumes trucks that have already been stunned and captured by the KarinaFarek's parrent. Dilfasaur nests are often found in the middle of wide open spaces that have plenty of Trucks nearby to hunt. They can often be found near Highways or in especially large parking lots.

Yaffe and Lepetit both sound like they could be actual Pokemon names. Also yay, two Pokemon episodes in a row! I feel like Julias Pokémon would be kind of an Abra situation where youd have a low chance of finding one in the wild but if you did you'd have to immediately catch it or it would use a move that just makes it disappear in a cloud of smoke and leave behind some valuable item (thats why its such good luck to see one)

Putting in my name I got a normal-type rabbit pokemon, roughly 3' and weighing 34 pounds. "Lived in the icebergs approximately 100,000,000 years ago. The eggs of this rabbit are highly nutritious and you'll instantly feel energetic after eating one." I'm pretty sure that this is just the baby form of the Easter Bunny, and that it gains Fairy typing when it evolves, like how Bunnelby gains Ground typing when it evolves.

Karina's pokémon is downright one of the most horrifying things ever created on the Drawfee show.

Each iteration of their avatars has become more realistic and like the real them. What if eventually their avatars gain sentience, and switch places with them in the real world?

I will never get enough fakemon. I'd love to see a speed draw in which the group designs fakemon. They do so great, I'd love to see what everyone does with more time.😊

When Nathan's pokemon goes to sleep, it plugs itself in, like it's charging

It's probably been said already but in the early generations of the game Pokemon were in the real world, Raichu's dex entry references Indian elephants, Lt. Surge is known as the "Lightining American" However somewhere along the line the world of Pokemon became separate yet inspired by the real world. Unova is symbolic of America. References to Indian elephants now reference Copperaja. I believe that real life animals don't exist in the world of pokemon, when a dex entry labels a mon as a fish or a mouse it's not because those animals exist in that world it's more like a scientific name vs a common name. What is this creature? Well it's a mouse but the proper name of the species is Pikachu.

Jacob managed to create an Earthbound enemy in a Pokémon episode. I’m impressed.

God I was thinking the most vile thoughts when you were arguing which part of the body is the "slime receptacle" and was so relieved when Nathan said the nose, like the whole situation could've wound down from there, but then Karina comes in the with "my slime receptacle is my mouth" and that was the second worst thing I was thinking xD

I'm pretty sure the random Indian Elephant mentions in some of the 1st-gen Pokédex entries are because there was going to be an elephant Pokémon in the first generation, but it was cut from the games sometime before the final lineup was decided on. So those entries probably mentioned that elephant Pokémon in earlier versions, and might've gotten re-written at the last minute (like somebody was going back over the entries one last time and went "oops, can't mention that one since it's not in the game anymore... ELEPHANT")

This is so funny when you consider that Drawfee is only one notch removed from Lin-Manuel Miranda. They’ve collaborated with the McElroy brothers before, and the McElroy brothers are friends with Lin. There’s an alternate universe where Drawfee gave Lin the idea for a Thomas Edison musical

Karina's truck eating Pokemon should probably eat the Muffler, so it can gain the poisons from the vehicle. I love all the designs today. The snot bug ghost looks like he should hold salsa.
