I have been OBSESSED with Demon Slayer for the last two years and just NOW am I finally getting around to drawing all my faves from this show!! So here's my take on Kyojuro Rengoku from Kimetsu No Yaiba, or Demon Slayer!

Yes :D Wait why didn’t he open his mark?Even tho he didn’t open his mark he was that fast?Kyojiro/Rengoku probably would’ve survived if he had opened his mark (not defeating akaza tho just till day).

You can't say Akaza was holding back during the last moments of the fight. Rengoku pinned his ass down with his own strength n will despite being critically injured. He gave an upper moon a run for his money solo n near death. You can NOT say that guy was weak

He never gave up. No matter what he did. I was star struck by his fighting and how powerful he was. And his reason for fighting in the demon slayer core he told Akaza was for the humanity of those good people. He didn’t do it for thrill, honour, fame. He did it because it was the right thing to do. Not many can say that.

@Chouka Moripeople don’t realise Akaza was NOT holding back. He was positive that Rengoku would take the deal. So why would he hold back. He didn’t. And neither did Rengoku. Rengoku went for it. And almost won. R.I.P Rengoku you were the absolute best.

RENGOKU IS LITERALLY ONE OF MY TOP ANIME CHARACTERS. I actually may be meeting his VA soon as well! (At a convention!) Edit: I went to that convention AND HIS VA IS THE NICEST MAN EVER- I got his Kazuha Autograph (would have gotten the rengoku one but didn’t have the money 🥹)

I personally favorite Shinobu as my favorite hashira (in fact my favorite character from demon slayer) But rengoku is definitely a second favorite hashira. I just love that his character is almost like a motivation in a way to the other hashiras since he was mentioned/ seen during the fights of the other hashiras as like a remembrance and I really like that! Rengoku was truly a pure hashira! Mitsuri or Muichiro next! (I'm leaning towards mitsuri though)

Kyojuro Rengoku to me embodies sunshine. I have a lot of merch of him because he reminds me that I can be happy with myself. My nickname for him is sunshine and giant lion.

Rengoku is my top 3, I love his character and his story. And he was strong as hell, he kept Akaza busy until daylight. But it was his passion and caring attitude that stood out to me, he fought to the death to protect everyone. He was a beast!! ❤️‍🔥

I have nothing wrong with Obanai, but at the same time I absolutely have a lot wrong with that character. I absolutely hate this character. The reason is for that because he is an absolute bully and I’m referring to him as when he bullies Tomioka. I find it absolutely bull crap. It’s flat out horrible.

For me, Rengoku and Mitsuri are my favorite Hashiras, but also Uzui. I love each of their energies. Rengoku and his happy respectful hyper energy. Uzui and his flashy, almost hysterically energetic side. And Mitsuri with her unfailing belief that she'll find someone!

Rengoku is easily my favorite because he's nice never gives up and has great potential will power, Rengoku was still able to become a Hashira even after his Father said he couldn't which means he never gives up, his power and heart is so strong it made him the 3rd strongest Hashira Physically and Mentally. And thats why Rengoku- San is my favorite Hashira ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I loved rengoku so much as a character and his death broke me. I literally sat in my room crying over it for a good 10-15 minutes. but he was an amazing character! inspiring, a big brother figure to the trio, and dedicated to his work despite what others (namely his father) thought of it. I only wish we had more time to see him 💔

My personal fav is obamai personally (and not just bc we slytherin buddies 👏) but I still think rengoku was pretty strong especially bc during those last moment akaza was personally struggling to get away from rengokus hold, and anyone who could manage to do that is worth the title of strong
