I don't think there ever was a patch note that for me topped "Sims will now flee the building they're in when there's a meteor strike, unless it is a school, in which schoolchildren are not allowed to leave and will always die." I know it's the old famous one, but it's just so good.

Who could forget the Stardew Valley patch that: “No longer violates the Geneva Convention.”

The Sims 3 was a paradise for hilarious patch notes. Some of my favs I remember were: "The Grim Reaper will no longer be prevented from reaping souls due to band affiliation" "Pianists will no longer continue playing pianos that have been detonated." "Sims who are on fire will no longer be forced to attend graduation before they can put themselves out." "Sims will no longer receive a wish to "Skinny Dip" with Mummies." "The magical laundry bear Abracadabra will no longer block Sims from moving after disappearing" "Fixed a tuning issue so that Sims now vomit at acceptable levels"' "When using the Fire Pit, Sims can no longer roast and eat horse fertilizer"

My head cannon is Julia is now possessed by the spirit of Merobiba. “If you had a chance… to punch a child… would’ya?”

i knew a sims 3 patch note would make it in here. the video of the person reading the patch notes out loud and dying laughing is iconic

I love the trope of drawfee guesses what Julia is drawing and she remains silent and draws faster.

Oh, with the "ghosts will no longer call you fiveISH times a day" one in Sims 4...even better: They'll not only call you to come do a fun activity in town right after they died like nothing happened, sometimes they'll call and ask you to do EXACTLY WHAT OOFED THEM. I know that's probably random, but having a ghost who just _died from embarrassment_ literally call another Sim five minutes later and be like "Hey, let's go to the comedy festival Downtown and embarrass ourselves!" is just MAGICAL. XD Speaking of Sims, that entire franchise is a GOLDMINE of wtf glitches and patch notes that would make the funniest pictures ever. Sims 3, especially.

I don't know if I'm just really tired but between the "everytime we touch" joke and the "you you can't be be no no" bit this is the hardest I've laughed at a Drawfee episode in a while

I always love when Nathan sings Telephone. “I left my phone on the phone at the phone place” still haunts me and now I can add the new verse of “stop calling stop calling I don’t want to talk to a ghost.”

The fact that Karinas drawing is Just Julia punching a child and Nathan in the back dead on the ground cracks me up. She avenged Nathan who got tornadoed by that child.

"I just invented boxing again." Glad to have confirmation Julia invented boxing the first time, it checks out.

I unironically love Karina's "and every time we kiss I swear I could fly" bit

I'd love to see DeepBlueInk animate Karina getting Nathan so giggly that he slaps his knee, I think he'd perfectly capture the joy in her voice

One of my all-time favorite patch notes is from Outer Wilds, the DLC I think: "A certain elevator now kills the player more reliably."

"Let's make one new joke that we will repeat" Little did they know, Merobiba has already caught the Drawfee-verse on fire.

Props to Julia for committing to her rebooting bit.

I don't know why but "turn-based boxing" sent me into a tantrum spiral of laughing

So I got a patch not for Dead by Daylight. It was something along the lines of "Fixed an issue involving the Executioner's rear to be too flat" The context being Pyramid Head, also named the Executioner in game used to have a massive dumper on his release, which the devs removed. The fans paid respect to his booty so the devs gave it back

Can confirm: Ghost stalkers were annoying as hell and a serious problem in early Sims 4. "What do you mean it's happy hour? I just went to your funeral!"

My children sometimes ask me where the libraries went and I have to get down on one knee and tell them, “my little Iowan angel, Drawfee needed them for their good goofs and bits.” They always cry but I think in time they’ll know it was for the best.

As a child, I WAS actually dropped off at the vet when my parents had shit to do. It was great. I should probably add the context that my big sister (in her 30s when I was a little kid) was a vet assistant. She worked there and I was allowed to hang out there. I would spend the day in the animal cages and the little rooms where they keep the sick animals who have to stay there. I'd play with the newborn kittens (there was always a fresh litter of kittens in there) and try to tame the grisly old cats who didn't like people. I'd hang out with peoples dogs sometimes. But I just realized that often my sister was working in the surgery room and stuff and I was alone and would maybe see her once for a few minutes each day... So... Literally when I was a kid, I was dropped off at the vet, and locked in a cage with some animals for the day lol. Literally they'd lock me in the cages (about the width and height of a kitchen table? So not tiny but I couldn't stand up or anything.) And leave me there for the day. It was great, I loved it. It was my favourite thing ever. Just haven't thought about it for a while lol.

Unexpected consequence of your medieval words video: every Drawfee video I watch from now on, I'm going to half-expect the intro to say, "I'm Jacob! I'm Nathan! I'm Karina! And I'm Merobiba!"

The idea of replacing public schools with drawfee classes had big Tumblr University vibes, which is a throwback that I both cherish and am agonized by

As a High School art teacher, I would love to show a Drawfee episode to my Digital Art students, but y'all are NEVER school appropriate!

I like how they didn't stop sims from WooHooing in the sarcophagus, they just made it harder.

Fun fact: during Georgian era boxing people did pretty much take turns punching each other. It was considered revolutionary when a dude started to actually avoid his opponents punches instead of just taking it and punching back 😂

Nathan saved his laughter for the intro of this episode, that’s the only reason he didn’t laugh at Merobiba

We NEED another Anime History episode because Julia would absolutely FALL IN LOVE with Julie d'Aubigny a.k.a. Mademoiselle Maupin. She was a bisexual crossdressing French opera singer who got in numerous fencing duels. Also, the following happened before she was 17: "In order to run away with her new love, she stole the body of a dead nun, placed it in the bed of her lover, and set the room on fire to cover their escape." If _anyone_ /EVER/ out there deserves an anime adaptation of their life story, it's her.

When Julia added the new joke to her drawing, I thought it fit really well cause I read it as the kid getting worried about impending arrest and stammering, like "Y-you can't b-be...no, no..."

In case anyone actually cares: In Dwarf Fortress, all the dwarves have mental health and moods based on things that happen to them in their daily life. If their mood gets too low and they are too unhappy, they'll have a sort of mental break called a tantrum. These tantrums can manifest in various ways, but they're often violent or destructive. A "tantrum spiral" occurs when one person snaps, then commits actions that make other dwarves unhappy enough that they also snap, which causes them to commit actions that make other dwarves unhappy enough that they snap, and so on and so on. It generally only happens with poor management where most of your dwarves are already teetering on the edge of breaking. But that is what a tantrum spiral is: Its basically a chain reaction where one tantrum sets off many, many more tantrums and because of the violent and destructive nature of tantrums, it can result in massive amounts of damage to your fortress, injuries, and deaths. As for the second Dwarf Fortress patch note: Crime is not omnisciently reported or obvious. When someone sees a crime committed, they basically go to the captain of the guard and reports what they saw. They will accuse a person of doing something. So if a fist fight breaks out in a tavern full of people, the captain will get lots of reports about the crime from lots of witnesses. The thing is, people lie. Sometimes they're the guilty person and want to deflect blame off of themselves. Sometimes they just really hate somebody and want to pin a crime on them to get them punished. I think sometimes they just like lying? Anyway, you'll have a list of like 5 different people being accused, but the overwhelming majority of witnesses will all say the same person is guilty and thats basically how you know who to punish because most of them will be telling the truth. But if a crime is NOT witnesses by a large group, you'll get only like one or two witnesses, or sometimes no witnesses at all, and it makes it much harder to determine who is guilty. Now when it comes to vampires, they will periodically drain blood from people who are asleep and most of the time they take so much blood that the person will die. Sometimes these vampires will report having witnessed an attack and pin the blame on another person. And sometimes they'd blame babies for killing people that they had killed themselves. There are lots of cheesey ways to identify vampires in your fortress, but one of the best legit ways is see who routinely reports vampire attacks because odds are that guy is the vampire, especially if he accuses different people every time.

Sims patch notes are iconic. My favorite one is that you can't woo hoo with the grimreaper anymore. It's also kind of sad that you can't do that anymore.

Really like that the MOST intelligent sentences in this episode was "Oh, that's what's in his mouth: teeth!"

Can confirm your show is not getting worse. It only gets better. My other favourite YT channel is GMM and Rhett and Link have lasted so long because their friendship evolves constantly. I also love improv so so much. Best form of comedy for me. Love Drawfee!

My favorite is still the sims 3 one: A meteor can hit a building, which case everyone will run out before the collision. Those who do not exit the building will die. Sims automatically leave if a meteor is approaching, unless it is a school, in which children are not allowed to leave and will always die.

Suggestion: in many animal species, the males put on colorful show to draw in the female. Many birds, like the superb bird of paradise, carolina parotia, costa’s hummingbird (aka squidface), or the greater sage-grouse, flash their plumage but also mudskippers, smooth newts, and peacock spiders put on a beautiful (and hilarious) display to attract mates. I’d love to see the Drawfee crew take these creatures looking for love and turn them into humans. Really wanting to see Karina design some beautiful clothes for some poor little guy looking for love
