13 minutes into the video and I realise that an eraser hasn't even entered the frame... 😳 Great video, Spencer. Real inspiration for me to get started! Also, love your style of presenting 😄
Awesome video dude. I've been following your work for a while now. And it has always been a great source of knowledge and inspiration. Please keep up the good work.
I'm having trouble drawing loose, from my shoulder, and holding my pencil differently.😥 It just feels so unnatural. I feel like it's really impeding my progress. Can you give a tutorial breaking down how to draw that way?
Ahh this was so helpful! Made my first sketch ever watching this. And although it requires a LOT of work to be anything compared to yours, I'm so excited and happy :D Going through your entire basic tips playlist. THANK YOU for this!
essentially break down anything into simple shapes, then add in line after line, as well as shading. as for scaling perspective, I imagine it depends on ones perception of the image. thanks ill put this to practice.
The same principal applies. I use this to draw animals. If anything, you would need help with just details like skin, hair, and minor animal features. Even then, I was able to draw a boar with just ovals and a cone.
you are very good in design ... n nic way to sketch ... can you reffer me an " Hindi language car drawing channel " so that i can understand cleary ... please
The best! 🙂 Thank you Spencer. You make it look so simple and break it down that even complete beginners can follow easily, with a strong foundation to build on. Subscribed!!!
how would one breakdown more abstract things like geometric patterns? Simple shapes stacked on eachother?? (Things like mandala, islamic geomery, viking knotwork etc?)
hey spencer here is a QUESTION no one could answer me,which is : when doing a side view of an object how to i do an top view with dimensions that compliment each other in perspective? do i just guess at the dimensions in top view? coz there is no info in side view that i can transfer to top view (like the width of the car)..., therefore making it a guess game? and hope it turns out well once put in perspective? thank you
Do you have any tips or videos to learn perspective. I have a huge comprehension disability and I am slow. I find my art is so flat because I don't understand the perspectives . I struggle with sketching
my man !! I would like to say Thank you !! I am just a beginner in drawing art. What I do for a living is 3d modelling but I did neglect drawing whole my life. I always found some excuses why not to do it. Thanks to you all the exercise I did for last year started to come to gather. Now I see why you need to practice primitive shapes and mashups. Once again thanks my man !! Maybe I won't be Picasso but If it's going to help me out I'm going to try it anyway ^^
Oh! I wish I saw this video when I was in school, all hopeful and lively and energetic. I would have been so good at drawing long back. Now I have become so tired and drained of life. Thank u for the video. Good day!
thanks spencer. these vids are so informative. i am old and a new learner and ur info is well thot out.i appreciate ur 'back story' and the way u lay out ur drawings. i am having some difficulity with relative size. somehow 'three squares long and i sq high' leaves me hanging in space somewhere. my drawings are out of perportion or lopsided. should i use graph paper to get the hang of it.? u are awesome and keep informing us. sincerely
You’re awesome, man and so lucky…you can draw and draw and not get tired or disillusioned…but then I can see the years of practice that has gone into all that agility with your drawing…
As you produce these designs, you seem so confident as you draw those lines. I try to be confident but never seem to get the correct lines. Is there any advice you can give me to achieve better
This is exactly what happens in school. I fuggin watch him draw and it makes sense and then I go to do it and cant remember how or even where to start with what or when
