Robosa was insanely difficult when I first had this game (age 7.) So his innards were basically what ended my attempts every time. Even today it's still harder than the other bosses (including the last!) So thanks for letting me relive my hatred for that metallic hellspawn.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who recalls struggling horribly on that one boss, every other one seemed to be a breeze the second time around but robosa gave me hell.
That boss was so hard for me as a kid that now I have a fully-planned out strategy for it engraved in my brain that I simply don't have for any other boss in any video game, let alone this one. And I STILL die to it. That's how frustrating this boss is.
I used to flex on my friend because I beat robosa first and she couldn't lmao What made it worse is her logic was: *you are 4 and I'm 8 so I should've beaten it*
Same I remember back when I was like 5 I had this game and it is my most vivid memory I had of my childhood and it saddens me to know that time is over now
@@artsyrpent673 Wilfre really needs to hit the gym more. He seems to suffer from the disease they call Bowseritis, where the big boss is actually easier to dispatch than his minions.
Do you know the story behind the king and queen? I could just never wrap my head around it. Also thanks for uploading this, I’m glad there are still people who remember this game!
I really like it how the main bosses all have slight variations when it comes to their Boss music, but whenever you try to looking them up only one of them is available
Damn, as a 10 year old, I HATED the giant robosa. I couldn't beat it, but I was so obsessed with the game, so I would keep replaying it over and over, but only up to that fight, and then I would restart. It was at least a couple months before I finally beat it and went on to reach the end of the game (which scarred me btw)
After I completed the game I went back to Wilfre’s wasteland and all of a sudden I noticed that the game resets to the last checkpoint before the finale level.
Did anyone else think Robosa was lowkey unsettling/creepy as a kid? There was just something about constantly being sucked into him and being inside his body, and seeing him from a distance only to come closer in an instant that somehow unnerved me as a kid. It was like this feeling of complete helplessness. Plus it was insanely hard imo. Or maybe I was just a dumb kid. who knows.
Ever wonder if Salem or sock were really raposa or were they always illusions made by Wilfre. I like to use Salem’s escape attempt as an example for them being raposa
God I remember the times when I never actually played on an Xbox or a PlayStation, the consoles I did play on were the old WII and first DS which were my two childhood toys. Seeing this game now makes me feel old oooohhh the nostalgia btw I never actually completed it.
That dash accross the screen, the teleportation abilities, even the design of the character. Bakibeard reminds me wayy too much of the Soul Master/Soul Tyrant and I hope it isn't a coincidence.
One time, many many years ago, my dad took me to see my grandfather and his wife when they were traveling down to California in their rv from Oregon. At that time, those were just names and the world was magical. We get there, but the whole car ride I had been trying to defeat giant metal dude in lava. The one time I actually am about to win, after so so many attempts, we get there, and I am ignoring my family I saw not even once a year because of this metal lava fucker. I beat him, and instantly turn off my game as everyone had gotten extremely upset at me, but I would not let them take my dark blue dsi. I had conquered the world
@@angrycinnabon2956 The Queen and King were pretty awful. The Queen has you trapped for the majority of the battle and the King has that death ray of his.
All I remember from my game on my ds was the black stuff that would cloud up in swirls and the little slimy black guys would attain you. There was a little circle in the middle of the town but I don’t remember it being like attacking other guys. I solely just remember fighting the black gunk from taking over the town? Does anyone remember this OR IS THIS THE GAME AND IM JUST STUPID
