This how the African Dancers in Charlotte, NC get down. Big up to all the DRC Dancers. Whether you are Congolese or not. The point is Africa has UNITED!!! Congo Strong!!!
I don't care from whence they came. I'm pleased with who they are and what they're doing. I'm happy about where they're going. I enjoyed this video immensely and watched again and again. I'm not from Africa. I'm from Savannah, Georgia. I like to think I'm from Africa, as I am in love with Uganda, as I am with many other places on the continent, and I surely will touch foot on the African continent before I pass away. DRC Dancers, do ya thing. Never stop. Keep it go. Love you. wuuyo. L
I enjoyed what they represented. I’ve been done at gig a bunch of African dancers. They seem to do it differently! I see we have been Kentucky of experts in the House. I would love for some authentic dancers to perform @ a trunk show. Very groom entertainment !!!
I am 100% african. Grew up listening to African Music and dancing African music from all over the continent. Those who say this is not authentic are idiots who don' t know shit about Africa. There are thousands of different types of dances and music in Africa. Although the genres here are mainly more modern soukouss/ ndombolo and coupe decale, there are clearly traditional moves from different part of Africa including central, west and Southern Africa, a beautifully executed melange. The standard is not that of professional dancers but, they held their own, represented and did Africa proud. Well done girls, keep at it.
Sista G - African women are very beautiful, smart , and talented. I use to date a young lady whose parents was from Nigeria. She of course was born in America. She did embrace the African culture and she didn't date African men . We grew apart because she was aggressive and quite mean and selfish at times. But it was also times she was nice. I do think about her often though. I'm sure she thinks about me.
Africans and people of Afro descent are the maestro of dancing all over the World, all the great moves in the USA are invented by blacks, so is Brazil, but check out the movie called ''King of the dancehall from Jamaica'' and yu will see something else. I also saw some dancers from Rwanda and it was the most skillful and beautiful dancing i've ever seen.
If you want to watch a real drc dancing group just watch old music 80s like LOKETO SOUKOUS - DIBLO DIBALA Aurlus Mabele and many others and see all Ochestres of that time,Best days
Why does everything have to be about racism or hating??? I'am an African American woman, who IS an African dancer and IS 100% for my ppl. My dance group went to Senegal and danced with the ppl their who we now call family. We ate what they ate, slept where they slept & the experience changed all of our lives. NOW, we do African dance. So... MsRoyal whatever ur name is, sometimes it just "takes one to know one." This group needs to visit wherever it is in Africa that they wanna learn the true
Congolese people do not have a monopoly on dancing Congolese music and neither are Congolese people barred from dancing music from elsewhere. It may well be the case that these are children of Congolese people that have settled in America. These dancers have just danced Congolese music with a unique style. This is just a case of sisters coming home in a unique way. Well done sisters.
Great Video they did a wonderful job I love it. def not a initiative. gREAT FORMATIONS n skills. of course people will hate.. continue to dance ladies your doing a fab job!!

I Agree 100% with you Sista G, lets ignore some no sense Comments here, because some people here dont know, or have no idea about when they need to stay Shut, quiet, off, or out of this world who dont need such silly guys.
Zaire people commenting here nobody said that they are Congolese but they are trying out a Congo dance which is a good thing, they do not need to be as perfect as real Congo people. Stop your nonsense......Good job girls.
