It’s called a taper helps protect the edge of your dreads from clipper happy barbers but some people like In this video have too much of a taper i have about 1/4 of an inch so I can have a hairline

@@lashayjohnson2857 don't get any styles that have your hair twisted and pulled to tight. It's gonna put too much stress on your roots and eventually, your locs are gonna start thinning and fall out. My locs are at my lower back
