The Beatles made several concerts for the BBC in 1962. In february with Pete Best as drummer in Manchester and in october with Ringo Starr in London. Between these two performances came the beginning of the Beatles sixties"dream" career. The dream of this Roy Orbison song that McCartney sang in those days.
Great interpretation of "Dream Baby" by Los Escarabajos. As always. Enjoy the tribute.

You may now legally use the Beatles' version as the audio track, since it is now in the public domain.

Music doesn't work the same as other copyrights. I believe if it is copyrighted to a Corporation (like a music publisher such as Northern Songs, etc.) then the copyright is forever. That's why sometimes you'll see old tv shows for sale but they replace the theme songs like the Beverly Hillbillies cause they recorded and sold their theme song as a single and thus it was covered by the music copyright even though the TV show did eventually fall into the public domain. Copyright law is fascinating...

Brian Epstein brought Roy to England for a tour when the Beatles were still coming up and they were his opening act but mid-way thru the tour their popularity had sky-rocketed so fast they became the headliners and Roy had to open for them. That had to have been alittle difficult for him (except he was getting paid so I guess he didn't have a choice).

this must be a different version of the beatles playing Dream baby, i have another version i downloaded that clearly is the Beatles, because i definately recognise Paul, John and George.
