Jai Dev Kamru Nag, is an equine welfare group formed by Brooke India about 3 years ago in the serene village of Kuther, Himachal Pradesh, India. The women from the equine owning communities the village are hardworking and resilient. With the guidance and support provided by Brooke India, the women started a small venture of everyday eatables items and started selling in the local fairs. Soon they started making profits and contributing significantly to their family's income. They have also made considerable change in the wellbeing of their animals by providing them better feed and medical treatment.
