not a problem to paint them, just need to heat treat them first to get all the releasing agents out of them so the paint will stick !!!

I have this procedure for two years and I have no problem for this... rocks, salt, mud , twig...I do photo afrer year for every weekends.. and this quad is the same after build ... thanks broo

I cut it, next grind it, and treat it with tools .

We use basic paint for plastic, then we use synthetic color, because this paint is soft and flexible for this application.

I don't like painting plastics either, you can use steel whool, and 600,800,1000,1200,1500 grit sand paper and make them look nice and smooth then yout can use polishing compound with a rag and rub them to make them look shiny, I did this to a old banshee I got and they looked great, the plastics where all faded and scratched and I made them look almost new. I put OEM style Yamaha graphics on them once I was done.
