Their quest for a welcoming and livable environment led them to the historic Fillmore District of San Francisco.
Now, let us fast forward two decades. Betty, the daughter who had left behind the awakening horrors of Mississippi with her mother and brother, found herself standing in front of an abortion clinic, rain pouring heavily upon her. Yet, in a profound moment of decision, she chose not to proceed with the surgery. Several months later, she gave birth to a son, whom she named DeShawn Davis.
From a tender age, DeShawn displayed an industrious spirit. At just four years old, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, striking deals and trading toys. By the age of seven, it was widely acknowledged that he possessed a remarkable talent for negotiation, gaming, daydreaming, and filling his notebooks with the word "Dream." As he entered his teenage years, DeShawn's passion for music ignited, offering him a profound connection akin to his love for business.
Armed with determination, DeShawn ingeniously transformed an old Dell computer salvaged from the basement, a dusty Casio keyboard, and a set of home theater speakers into his very own music studio.
