Every man dreams of having a nice garage. In this video we show you start to finish how to get there on a budget. #fantasygarage #garagebuild #dreamgarage
give yourself a good 2 weekends to do the flooring. I think it took me 3. check Rust-Oleum for pricing based on your garage size. Look for good pricing on wood laminate at Home Depot and Lowes. I can't recommend the floor mats I used under the bike lifts. the edges curled up real bad. Now get at it. lol. MP
Out of fairly extensive research I'd seen it's best to avoid Rust-Oleum. Looks good when applied but isn't durable. Peeling after a short term is a frequent complaint.
@@baseballhunter42 I agree. I forgot where I purchased mine and the brand but did a lot of research. I couldn't buy it in a store I recall and believe it was the one (at least 15 years ago) that Jay Leno used in in garage? Any who, 15 years later it is still holing up! About once a year I do a thorough cleaning on it with hot water, soap and a stiff brush and 98% of oil, dirt and grime come up! But it's ALL about the prep work. That took me several days to etch, clean, rinse and repeat but was well worth it.
I used the Rust-o-leum epoxy in my garage 15 years ago and its still holding up great and that is in a WI garage! The key is preparation, I used their acid wash and the degreaser to clean and etch the floor prior to coating it. One caveat though, my floor was only about 3 months old when I coated it.
Sir, that is the most intense garage makeover I have ever seen. Watching you grind the floor made me tired. Thank you for showing the details. One of these days I will tackle my garage this way. The color choice and matching tiles were fantastic. Thank you for sharing with a fellow rider.
Man! This is great. I did this in my California garage. It’s definitely tough work, so I know what you went through. But the end results are REWARDING 🤟🏽 Now I need to do this in my Florida Garage haha.
@@MOTOPILOT6 Thats the hardest part when I look at doing mine!! Moving all the BS that I have accumulated the last 15 years in the garage. I would have to rent a storage unit and move it all while working on the garage....UGH!!!
went through all that and left a unfinished pine board behind the pressure washer. Please say that has since been painted black. Awesome job on the space!
Nice work thx 🙏 for reposting this and sharing it , I did not see the first go around when you first dropped this video content, according to the guy in the comments that said this was a re post ..?? Idk or really care if it was a repost or not , I’m just glad I got to see it
Bro that came out incredible!!! Damn it’s TOO nice, I’d be afraid to get it dirty, it’s like “Take off ur shoes before entering the garage!!” 😂 Great job man!!
It’s probably been said often to you, but “Outstanding” transformation. I’m in the mist of a brand new garage build, and you’ve given me some additional toys I’d like if I’ve got any $’s remaining. Nice concept, excellent execution, and outstanding results. Appreciate your sharing. Like your floor coloring. What made you go that route vs the “FLAKES”? Thanks, Bro!
