I’ve been listening to this song since my freshman year of Highschool, I’m now a senior and this song still hits the same way it did when I first listened to it. Love this band and especially this song🤍

This song has such an impact on me. It allowed me to face my feelings head on for someone I loved and I let them know without holding back even though it’s so painful that they don’t love me back. This song came on my discover weekly on Spotify and I instantly thought of him and everytime I play it now it touches something deep inside me, like two hands holding my heart it holds all my pain and I feel everything in the most painful beautiful way like looking at a painting that reminds u of something you can never have

In the worst phase of my life I listened to this song 634 times. how do I know this?.. the Spotify retrospective reminded me.. I don't know if I'm happy or sad, the memories that this song brings me are kind of strange and messy, sometimes I was happy listening to it, other times I was with insomnia without being able to sleep or worse things. This music video gave me massive Déjà vu. I remember having a nightmare of me living life, but all the people were manikins. I was one of them, but something felt off. This woman I had met and became friends with, but always forgot who I was. We would do similar things everyday and at the end of the day I would give her a hug and say goodbye. I realised it was a loop. When I realised that, the woman disappeared and all the manikins became more animated than before, they all looked at me with sadness or anger on their faces. They chased me and caught me, then I woke up. I remember the nightmare well. When I was a kid I was terrified of manikins. I would have loads of nightmares about them and I didn't like going clothes shopping because of them. This is one which I had a few times and this music video reminded me of it.

So glad to see this masterpiece finally get a music video

This always gives me chills. I used to listen to this song a lot, but now I can’t do it without remembering that person that I fell in love with, I loved her so much. I still remember when I was saying goodbye to her with this song, ending with a kiss under the rain. Now everything is lost after she left me, everything went really wrong, but at the end, this song didn’t get any less beautiful because of that, it’s just a reminder of it was, of was I was, of what she was. But even after all the pain, I’ll always love her into my memories. The probability of she seeing this is close to zero, but if you see this, I didn’t hate you, I didn’t want to be a wall to talk to, I just wanted to keep intact the love that I still had for you, while you could have another chance of being happy again.
