For extra context for people who didn't watch the stream: Right after tommy died the stream ended and he raided tubbo and awesamdude confirmed that he actually died on tubbos stream.
In reality Tubbo and Ranboo had just finished doing a challenge and switched to the SMP to work on the hotel. I don’t think either of them even knew lore was happening. Also Tubbo said he was super tired and ended stream not long after
Dream's character is designed to be the true antagonist Tommy's, however, is just as much of a child as he is with no character development, and next to nothing to redeem his actions. Dream may be the antagonist, but Tommy's no hero.
I think tha line confirms that this is canon. It wouldn't make much sense to say it if it wasn't canon. I just don't understand why he killed him when he said multiple times he was the only one he wouldn't have killed

So maybe later dream would revive tommy and tommy will belive him about the book, and tommy wont kill dream because he is the only one who know about the book other than jshlatt. That is everyone theory...
When Dream said he wouldn't use the revive book for Tommy or his friends you could tell that Tommy actually got caught off gaurd from that. We literally ALL know that Dream can actually scare Tommy quite a bit- And he honestly looked somewhat scared from Dream saying that
Tommy is Claustrophobic and Dream has gone insane from the amount of time he's been locked up, TommyInIt killing the only stress reliever and entertainment they had (other than the clock) was definitely not the move..
@@leilaflood8871 The dream SMP is more of a story than an SMP, each player starts out with 3 canon lives. Whenever a death is scripted, the victim will lose 1. Dream has a revive book that can give ghosts an unknown number of lives. Awesamdude, the warden of this prison, can also 1-shot anyone in full netherite. most of the time, any lives he takes from people that mess with the prison are canon
I really think dream did this so that he can bring Tommy back. To show he has that book, and then it also shows that they need him and can't kill him. Omg thanks everyone for the likes
@@SUPADOG111 I mean it makes sense. Right before Tommy said "I don't believe the book exist." If he was brought back that would def make him believe in it. And if that happens he'll prob want Wilbur out. So to bring back wilbur dream would assk to get out of jail
It’s canon but I think dreams gonna use the revive book on him just to prove that he has it. Or someone’s gonna visit him, like sapnap, tubbo, or ranboo, and persuade/make a deal with him to bring tommy back.

@@fruitdalas1201 Ranboo would be amazing as I can imagine him breaking free out of Dreams control forever and Dream would try controlling him again but Ranboo won't be affected. Right after this Ranboo would slay Dream. Oh and before Dream tired to control him I imagine there to be a argument between them. Sapnap would be so cool too.. Since hes Chaotic Neutral (I think thats what we established him as now) The way he would get to Dream would be by breaking in defences rather then with Sam guiding him. Sam would get alarmed and get on the server. But by the time he gets to Dream's VERY broken cell, he will just see Sapnap killing Dream with an netherite axe crit. Sam would be like "Oh." and Sapnap would just leave through the broken wall without saying anything. And Tommy I imagine him to cuss him out while punching him with a potato, and I also imagine Sam to be in the cell too with them, just watching. (Sam would be there to make sure Tommy isn't trapped in there again.) And once Tommy kills Dream and gets out of the prison, he would probably go to Phil and tell him " Why din't you come and save me?" And Tubbo would just be " Oh nice Tommy's alive..... But does he have a Super Mario Kart steering wheel?" lol. And George would be him using OP while Dream is laughing and wheezing to death, and I imagine George to be laughing too.
theory: so dream killed tommy, and IF he owns the book, he will say to everyone that he will revive tommy, so techno will come there and start fighting with everyone and let dream escape because of the favor (dream mentioned that favor while talking to tommy)
@@starramazing9646 True, though Tommy was mostly what made the SMP entertaining. He's considered the ''main character'' by many. But honestly, people can stop being all dramatic and sad. Tommy is obviously gonna get revived, it would be weird for this arc to end so abruptly anyway.

@@iluvkaulitz I don't know to tell you exactly since I haven't watched the streams, but a friend explained to me that Tommy got trapped into the prison with dream, because there was a security problem caused by Ranboo, and he had to wait one week in there, that's all I now, also from what my friend told me, I hope it helps

I remember when it was tommy's birthday dream was the only one that visited him and said to tommy that he can look at the dream smp for a minute and tried to make him happy when he was the only one that went to his party

Guys, idk if you realized this but at the end of the stream of when Drista came for the second time, Tommy said he might be in a “ghost like figure,” or “ghostly figure,” or somewhere in the words of that when or if Drista comes back. He foreshadowed his own death.
Everything aside, this doesn’t make any sense. He had so many unfinished story lines, axe of peace, resurrecting wilbur, so much stuff dude. Purely from a writing standpoint this wouldn’t make sense.
It’s to subvert expectations if I will. It’s a plot twist, and it makes perfect sense, dream will escape because he has huge leverage and the story goes forward. He’s been here for almost 2 months I think.
