Knoblach doesn’t get enough credit. His fingerprints are all over this comeback. I also believe he’s helping McDavid stay calm under pressure and reminding him he was born for this.
@@_roko_The thing with Knoblauch is that he’s made so many bold changes to his lineup throughout the year yet no move he’s made have seen like a Hail Mary attempt. Everything he’s done has been criticized yet they’ve all been the right moves. Hes been as important for this team as any of the players on the ice.
So, I'm fairly new to hockey. I'm still learning who is who beyond my local expansion team. Of course, I know about the true legends of the game... Gordie, Bobby, Wayne, Mario... you can't be on the North American continent and be completely unaware of those guys. It's like not knowing who Jackie Robinson was. But I am GODDAMNED glad I've been watching these Stanley Cup finals. I've watched what even a new guy like me can see are legendary feats of athleticism. People are gonna talk about the 23-24 Cup in tones of awe for rest of this century. Now I'm rooting for Edmonton, but no matter who wins tomorrow you can be sure that both teams left everything they had to say out on the ice. That's all you can ask for in a gripping sports story like this.
Hawks fan here: Although I’m technically neutral in this series, never have I wanted a team to win more than this Oilers group. McJesus deserves it more than any player in the world right now, and I’ve never been this nervous or excited for a NON-HAWKS team as I am for game 7. To all you Oilers fans: You have the support of the entire country on Monday (excluding Florida) Go get that reverse sweep done!
Man I’m telling you this, if the fucking cup comes back to where it truly belongs 🇨🇦…… the entire fucking country gonna be stoned and drunk Monday night. Ima leafs fan. Love mcdavid and Hyman bro. Let’s goooo boys
