Well, Dream does hate horror and doesn't like too much adrenalin. He can't handle scary stuff too well.

It looks like he slowed down the game's execution temporarily, look how fast and twitchy his mouse movements are during that sequence

Believe it or not but when that specific manhunt came out that boat-play was one of the things people took as "evidence" that manhunts were faked because of course it looks goddamn ridiculous, and of course huge amounts of people talked discourse about it 😅 It also prompted Dream himself to explain and analyze his thinking and actions in that moment (if you want to see that analysis you can just search up "Minecraft Speedrunner VS 5 Hunters ANALYSIS" and find the full vod with that part in it (he also talks about the manhunt-server's settings that helped him stay in the crafting bench long enough so I don't think it could've been possible in a full-vanilla minecraft server)). But yes it is an extremely high-level play in my opinion, but within the server-settings they have for manhunts other people have actually been able to accomplish the same clutch :D Pretty neat!

@@duyoazzaisin Fascinating. I have absolutely no doubt that an incredibly skilled player is capable of doing that; pro gamers are capable of some pretty incredible feats of dexterity. I was merely commenting that someone using an execution time mod would achieve a similar appearance.

The details are so great, you have the "big play" he has to execute, but you also have persistent misdirection and mind games that set the stage for it working, like in that case the hunter is just going to go, "oh yea he's pillaring" and chase him right into the TNT DEATH ZONE.

Yep, Hunters were all afraid but GNF is likely scared on Warden the most.

Even Dream was frightened a little - he had no idea he just dug into an Ancient City, spawned the Warden near the Hunters, caused a SECOND one to appear near him and they all just got the hell out of Dodge.
