Dream's Sister Doesn't Deserve This... - Today we talk about dream's sister otherwise known as drista and what has been going on regarding drista drama. People who do this make me sick. They are LEGAL MINORS and even now that Ranboo is 18, he still doesn't want NSFW content of him. This should even have to be stated for Drista who is LITERALLY 15 (maybe later because of the time this was posted). I can't even belive Lani (who is Tubbo's sister btw) is getting this way back to when she JUST BECAME A TEENAGER. This has to be illegal.

As someone who’s right inbetween Drista and Lani’s age I would be so disturbed if my brother was a well known streamer and after playing with him just once immediately people would just make innapropriate NSFW artwork on me. Just to clarify; Rule 34 states that if it exists, there *is* porn of it, not that there should be. The rule is more of a word of warning than a suggestion to be followed.

Thank you for calling this out, I wish there was more awareness. This can scar any of the five under 18, as well as any of the 18, 19, 20, 21, 22,... tbf... They are all young or started young, it's in the end about morals and also a problem with the viewers who do this weird stuff starting at young ages too as you say. Storytime- I’m a minor and I made the mistake a few years ago of being friends with some adults in real life. We lost contact after a while. About a few months ago, I discovered their social media accounts and saw sketchy stuff. I messaged them from a different account and asked about it. And guess what they sent me! FRICKING HENTA! Thing is, this whole thing isn't new. These drawings and works have existed ever since the beginning of the Dream SMP and ever since every member has made an appearance in there. People who make rule 34 art and fanfiction of minors (also shipping minors with eachother or other adults) call themselves poppytwt or the poppy community, and their reasoning/excuse for making these is that they cope with trauma this way. I am in no way judging anyone's trauma, all traumas are valid. What can NOT be valid is a way of coping, and this one is just not it fam..

A mistake they did is cancel the site, with a report feature, you need to cancel the artist remove their accounts, then delete their work with reports on the site, the site cannot moderate if you dont flag them about it

@@BossKnight Not saying they would, but at least according to the Criminal Code of Canada, Section 163.1, Subsection 4.2, that would count as accessing child pornography. Also, S.C. 2011, c. 4 Subsection 6 makes it clear that nothing in the act requires or authorizes a person to seek out child pornography. Not sure how it is in America, but in Canada, that makes it a punishable offense. Not that you would be tried, but you could be tried.

Lani (pronounced Lah-knee) is Tubbo's younger sister, who has also appeared in a few of her brother's streams and Tommy's video's. And as a person who's pretty active on AO3, I'm sad to say that I've seen nsfw fics with Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, and yes, even Drista (not sure if I've seen Lani) show up in the list of fics when I just look up DreamSMP or any particular tag that has to do with it (and sometimes even unrelated tags). I usually either skip them or leave a comment asking the author to remove it (you can skip straight to the comments if you click on the number of comments instead of the title), but yeah, it's fucking disgusting

My first exposure was AO3 as well; it was a nsfw with drista and lani and I remember just pausing in my tracks and staring at the character and warnings section of the title because I just couldn’t believe. I thought for sure that I had to have misread it. Nope, it’s there. Absolutely fcking disgusting.

Jaiden Animations once said thatshe had bad fanart of her. The reason she doesn't talk about it is so that only people who are into that shit actually see it. Most of her fans aren't even aware of them. Sure they know they exist, but they don't know to what extent and they tend to respect her and keep quiet about it. I believe she has a beef with content creators bringing exposure to this because them talking about it is honestly making things worse for her in her opinion. Now Drista is a minor. She doesn't actually say anything about this from what I heard, but I do see a point in Jaiden's speech. It's probably best to let the internet not know about this. Less viewership, less content

the only reason why the images haven’t been taken down is because of a tag which is just “aged up” so with this tag it will not violate tos and wont get removed (yes r34 has a tos, the owners are human beings with common sense) if the art never had that tag it would violate the tos and be removed in a day or so

Your not wrong, there are messed up rules. Rule 34,35 and 63 are some of the worst ones. People forget that eri from my hero academia has rule 34, same with tianaman square and kim jun un. But to cancel rule34 is impossible, 4chan exists, so do many others, hell i can name multiple websites that are just sub categories of rule 34

Humans sec ualize other people (the situation in this vid is unacceptable though, these people are minors)...the thing is they don't have to post it on the internet. I have shipped characters from movies and I have drawn them, but because the faces of those characters are actors and real, actual people, they should be kept offline.

This is so terrible. Rule 34 is already one of the most disgusting things on the internet. To have to deal with crap like that as an ADULT would already be very traumatizing and disturbing in its self. But to go as far as to draw literal CHILDREN up to 13! It is discussing and very disheartening. Rule 34 is out of control, and should really have boundaries set on it, especially when there are MINORS involved

From the way keid is explaining things, im pretty sure people are gonna misunderstand this. Its alright if you draw fanart thats not innapropriate. Example : you draw fanart of drista wearing a green hoodie, while shes putting her left hand on her hoodie pocket while shes and kind of kneeling back a bit while shes doing the peace sign. This fanart is arlight to draw and post online since its nothing harmful. So if your a bit confused, your free to create any chill fanart

Here’s the issue with canceling something like rule 34. From what I am aware, there is about a dozen sites some of which are located on the open Web and the dark web, making them very difficult to find and/or eliminate. Even if rule 34 were to be canceled, it wouldn’t take long for most of these “artists” to find their way to these alternative sites and continue their actions. If you want to completely eliminate this issue you have to completely eliminate the Internet and it’s entirety.

Even though it IS illegal to draw minors in a disgusting way and show it to the public, the rule itself said it. There is lewd art of it, no Exceptions. No popular characters, not even the mentioned people in this video are exempted of this rule. And as rule 35 states, if no lewd arts of it exists, it will eventually be made. [Long note incoming] Eventually, there will be lewd arts of characters regardless of them being real or fictional, and it will never stop coming. Nobody can stop them from drawing more, no matter how many times we try and stop them from doing so. When one really does stop, another will take its place, and the cycle goes on.

For the most part I agree with this drawing rule 34 about children is awful without a doubt. But to cancel rule 34 as a whole, that's a different thing entirely, and something I don't agree with. I would 100% agree if some of those tweets said cancel the artist that made those images. Is rule 34 a bad thing? Yes, and no it all depends on what you draw. Like of you draw video game characters, or people who have suggestive careers then it's fine for the most part, but doing to people who don't feel comfortable about it, and or actual children then maybe you shouldn't be on the internet.

The sad thing is that since those are drawings, there is just about nothing you can do against it except talking with the artists themselves, because as I said it's art and number one trick for situations like this (especially in anime) is "all characters drawn are 18 or above" basically saying "yeah this just plays in the future so it's not sick". And if we're already at it, time to get rid of basically 90% (if not even more) of fanfics, it's basically the same as r34 with the creativity of some people out there

Canceling them is near impossible. Poppytwt (the people who make nsfw of the dsmp kids) makes alt accounts separate from their mains because they’re cowards. They’ve been on Twitter and in various other communities for so long now. If one account gets “canceled” or even taken down they’ll just make another alt. The best we can do is provide awareness
