I just bought one for myself for privacy when my great grandchildren come over for the weekend. Jacob, I LOVED your entire review especially your explicit folding instructions. You're the best!
Brilliant - loved you putting it back in the packaging - we had same trouble with pop up beach tent - so embarrassing in front a lot of holiday makers but at least we all had a great laugh and entertained everyone. Easy peasy once you know how. Also thanks as wondered how the white plastic holders worked - was going to throw them away and sew elastic straps to the tent and they would then fit under the mattress - much easier your way - cheers
Great review! We bought my son one for Xmas and had no idea how to assemble since we didn’t have instructions in ours. We needed to know how to assemble with the white things.
The one I got for my daughter did not come with the attachments or the horseshoe-shaped pieces that tuck under the mattress. It was sealed so it wasn't like they were taken out. I feel they were not included in the packing of the product.
I used to put the dream tent back in like it was no problem as a kid. I opened my dream tent today for nostalgia, and putting it back in was a struggle. Can't believe I forgot how to fold it.
i just bought these today and seen you have to order the flashlights which I think is a ripoff.. they are free but you have to pay 5 dollars for shipping and handeling...
tubby wubby I just threw it away. I wanted to mention it however I didn’t have the paper. For five dollars you can buy 2 cheap flashlights for the one you are probably going to get.😂
The tent on a full size bed works just fine. You have to adjust it slightly so that it’s a little higher in the front than in the back, but my kids (who both have full size beds) LOVE theirs.
I got ours for 10 euro at a closing sale. No lights included in Europe either - which I find pretty cheeky considering it states it is included. There was not even a paper included as to where to "order" one - so it is basically false advertising. Not sure this is allowed in the EU but I am not a lawyer. Additionally I found the air inside the tent terrible - it gets hot really really quick in there which is why I "dissembled" it again and put it back into the packaging, I doubt my kid sleeps in there. Will have her try it out on a weekend when she actually can sleep in.
So you send off for the flashlight or torch as we call it in UK and that's where my problem lies due to being in UK I assume I'm paying for the flashlight to be shipped from the states???
I have a dinosaur dream 10 I don’t even need to use a bedframe I just use my teddy bear and then put it on the side of my bed by whole new pillows so I just hold it with stuff
Jacob Deffenbaugh for reading it’s WAY too dark. It has 5 modes: white, blue, orange, green and color changing. But it isn’t as magical like it should :))
@Jacob Deffenbaugh i did it (i think), but I personally feel someone overthought the design. They couldve easily just extended both ends of the tent so it sat under the mattress and secured it that way and not caused me any stress. I guess its all part of the fun i guess 😄
Yea, I mean for $20 its good. I feel like how it attaches to the bed could of been made differently. Aside from that it is worth getting if your kid is interested in it. Of course if it gets your kid to read too what a bonus!
The one I purchased you had to send it with a piece of paper. Plus you had to pay shipping and handling. I personally haven’t seen a dream tent that came with one. However that doesn’t mean they do not. If yours came with that great! That’s how it should come.
