even though i think this solo is amazing...the budokan version is majestic...i just cannot close my mouth whenever i listen to that solo...plays it with a hell lot more feel than this...here he's hurried a few moments..

Not the same solo twice. I love how he does the rubatos, he takes time whenever he wants to and it always sounds awesome. I like the Budokan one a tad better, but it might be that I've developed an emotional bond with that solo XD. JP rocks!!!!!

The Live at Budokan version was much better.

petrucci needs somthing else to do, cause he has mastered the guitar. Wow! I still like budokan just a touch better. The other solo from Bukokan that gives me chills is Trial of Tears.

I mean ignoring that he's out of time, forgetting key hooks, and just kinda paraphrasing the passages. It sounds way better than all my practice attempts.
