well I'm glad the producer got Mike to use these. They may not sound all theat great here by themselves, but those drums sound incredible in the mix. The guy knew what he was doing. I have always loved that snare and am quite shocked to find it's been triggered.
Except for the cymbals, the whole kit is triggered. The toms don't sound too bad though. Portnoy said that was that one thing he hated about the album; his producer made him use it because that was what all the pop metal bands were doing at the time, and he had been producing for these pop bands.
Well said sir, this drum track was made for GH game so who knows where did they got this from, and i'm also hearing that cymbals are triggered.i also have snare, cymbal, toms and bass drum tracks so they had to put artificial cymbals just for the sake for the quality of the gameplay
Mark Fall Most GH games after GH2 use master recordings. The reason for the weird sound is that the producer would only let Mike record with triggered drums on I&W.
@Uvtond Well it sounds good to me,in the matter that this is from Guitar Hero drum track it would be smarter if they did master recording so it would sound more original x]
/watch?v=6aM5INFlV00 This isn't his drum track. this is a link to a video of the real drum track of pull me under, but it's only a preview as you need to purchase it from the program. Jammit gets the tracks from the master tapes themselves.
