I've always felt he's been pretty great on albums regardless of era. I think he struggles mightily during live performances lately, especially when they play the earlier stuff. But he's been singing for 40+ years and even singers like Geddy Lee can't come close to hitting the notes they used to, even without a food poisoning incident that affects ones vocal chords.
Wonderful upload. This and the ending of Count of Tuscany with just the vocals, guitar, and keyboard parts, I honestly like better than the actual album versions. There isn't anything in the album versions I dislike, but I find myself appreciating James' voice and the keyboard work in general so much more when the arrangement is much more sparse. Love your work.
Rolled it down to 0.9 playback speed and my God, I haven't listened to something this blissful for the longest of times. Thank you for the upload, you truly create some gems for us DT fans!
