I think that it's going to be a two parter or three parter. Let's go with the 3 for now, so the first part will be 1.8, then second one will be 1.16 PvP, however I'm predicting that it's going to be a draw then they will do a manhunt 1vs1 to see who can kill the dragon first.

Personally I really hope techno wins cause some dream stans are going to be way too obnoxious with that if dream wins. But then again, they will call rigged if techno wins. Edit: Now I hope they will tie, cause then there will be almost no toxicity and no ego's will be lowered.

I feel like people don't give Techno enough credit for how smart he is. Yes, Dream is very smart, but Techno got a *1414* winstreak in Hypixel Bedwars. A game that requires a lot of game sense and strategy. He's also a 4-time MCM winner, and people don't realize that MCM isn't only about pvp, it also has a decent amount of strategy involved.

I watched the potato wars videos and needed no other convincing about Techno's intellect. Bedwars shows he an incredibly quick thinker with crazy reflexes. Overall you have a man that would be undercover CIA operative gold playing minecraft for a living.
Idk, they won’t shut up afterwards saying how dream is the greatest minecraft player in history. You don’t see technoblade a audience making highlight videos with titles like “techno does flawless pvp fight against dream” and have the video be like a 4-5 win ratio

This may be a biased view, but I think Dream Stans will do a lot more damage compared to techno's. ( Mostly due to how large Dream's fanbase is.)

(I’m a year late but idc) Both of them are the brain and the brawn. Dream is a good trapper and can win a 1v4. Techno is one of the best pvpers and has good game knowledge.

Here’s my strat if I were both of them: Dream- Practice hard on 1.8 PvP to try and do better than Techno on it. Techno- Become one with the crazed Dream stans on Twitter, stalk all public records of Dream until he stumbles across a picture of Dream’s face. Once he has that, blackmail Dream into throwing the competition. Edit: This aged better than I thought it would.
Tbh idk about 1.9+, techno has been playing with fruit, he’s latterly a god he won so many mc ultimates (the public server). And he’s also insane at 1.16 pvp. techno has been training with him and he got rlly close fights. I know this cuz fruitberries streamed that once. techno was better than I thought
I think Techno will win as he is the more pvp centric player (TechnoBlade is also way better with bows) Dream is alright at pvp but really relies more on parkour in things like manhunt
It also really depends on how MrBeast sets it up. Because if he doesn't give bows, maybe he gives potions, gives blocks to each player or fishing rods. That's going to really affect it.

Personally, I think Techno is going to barely win by 6-4 or something. My reasoning is, for 1.8, Techno isn't as good as people claim. He's GREAT don't get me wrong, but players like Fruitberries are probably better. Dream has also been shown pvping on 1.8, and unlike the recent duel with Tommyinnit, in his newest streamed fight against Wisp ( In Wisp's stream ), Dream did incredibly well, even at one point 3-0-ing Wisp, a 1.8 pvp main. Dream even used the rod which he didn't even bother trying to use in Tommyinnit's duel ( probably because he was very rusty ). While they are very close to each other, I think shown with his rodding, Dream probably has worse aim than Technoblade, and they both show proficiency block-hitting. I don't know who strafes better tho, since I couldn't see Dream's POV vs Wisp (good players can probably see when Dream strafes, but I don't have a keen eye for those kinds of things). Overall I'd say 4-1 to Techno's favor. As for 1.16, I think from the information I'm given, it's in Dreams advantage. I don't think I have to explain why Dream has the advantage. However, I don't think it'd be fair for me to rate scores on this, because no ones seen Techno's progress with Fruitberries (ever since the duel they had like 3 weeks to 1 month ago). but if I had to guess its either 5-0 if Techno doesn't improve all too much, or 3-2 still in Dreams favor if Techno improves a lot. Remember, Techno is training with Fruitberries, who is arguably better than Dream in 1.16. No matter who is better at the game, although I'm rooting for Techno, I hope people remember it's just a game and don't freak on twitter.

People also aren’t accounting for if calvin holds back with training dream, techno could use similar strats to the potato war, sabotage etc. maybe he’ll play nice but I haven’t seen anyone account for this in their analysis
on 1.8, dream stands no chance. Skeppy, another pretty good 1.8 pvper, is better than dream, and alot better than tommy. Skeppy can easily take tommy, while dream has minor struggles. Since Techno is pretty much better than skeppy, i see no way that techno loses more than one 1.8 duel. for 1.9, i see no way techno wins more than 2.
@Santino Hull that's in bedwars though, there are too many factors in bedwars, of course Techno will dominate in Bedwars and Skywars but it will be simple duels. This will be very fun, I'm a techno supporter but man is it going to be tough.
Prince DaKing he never gave us a real scaling factor in 1.8pvp for techno, but he gives a scale for dreams skill in 1.16 stating he was untouchable and he felt like he had a chance against techno everytime,

@@froz771 I know I’m later lol but true like even his analysis of the duel was well planned and was giving reasoning as to why he did something. A lot of people say that dream is better thinking on the spot and techno is better with long term strategising and planning, but that video totally shows that he (techno) also is extremely quick and has fast thinking on the spot. So yeah lol
SpeedDev it’s 10 rounds in total not trying to criticize. Also I feel if there was not 100000 dollars on the line techno would prob win but techno isn’t really the best under pressure (Not a fanboy or defending either just saying my opinion)
I feel like Dream's fans are kinda toxic, like the only time their happy is when Dream wins. They can't just accept that other people can be good at minecraft too. It's okay when he first wins to be exited but you don't have to downgrade other people to make Dream feel better. Now i am a dream fan so I've seen for myself the cocky and rude comments people have wrote about the other person whether they win or loose. i just hope that both the Dream fans and Techno fans can have some respect for both people, both players are incredibly skilled and i don't want either one of their victory's do be ruined by fans. Now before anyone in the comments comes for me I am not trying to hat on either of them in fact I'm trying to give support, just don't be toxic. its as easy as that.
It's the 2 biggest no life mc players attack. With fruit's help in 1.8 and 1.16, I say technoblade. If techno can land his rods he wins automatically. And fruit is very comparable to dream so I say techno but it's gonna be close ass
i really want techno to win but since they announced the duel I've always believed dream would win. i go on twitter and the majority of people voted techno to win. i don't think most people actually think techno will win but they just want him to. im afraid that if techno losses people are going to be really disappointed at him.

In my opinion, dream or techno is better than eachother. FI dream is better, he has to be better at IQ, Progression, PVP redstone and buildings. thats the rules for me but i respect ur opinion.

Techno doesn't look optimistic in this one, even FireBreathMan said it and he is very good at the block arts. I'm not sure, I support the Pig King himself but Dream might unleash his hidden ability "nightmare" which is an alterego that allows him to go sicko mode in PvP and increases quick wittedness by 40%
Im writing this after the fight: Btw, I'm following techno on yt from the begining, he is a clutch guy, ' he can try hard everything '. And the thign is Dream knows how to use the rod on 1.8, and Techno on his vids was destroying ppl with combos withour a rod, that is the only advantage by dream in 1.8

I believe Techno will win, His channel has been framed essentially just about pvp. Therefore he had to become really good in order to make a living. Dream on the other hand hasn’t shown a lot of evidence of his true pvp potential. And most likely hasn’t had the experience Techno has.
I believe dream will win tbh, i like technoblade more out of the 2, but dreams 1.9 pvp is insane, also is very good at 1.8 and id say a little bit better then tommy innit,

When I run it through in my head I think Techno takes 1.8 4-1, and Dream takes 1.16 4-1, but then there’s a tiebreaker involved so that gets messy. I’d have to give the edge to Techno though, he pvps more than Dream and I think that experience is likely to get him an extra game somewhere.
Techno trains with both firebreath man and fruit berries two really good players and also I think dream won't be able to win at all 1.8 but technoblade can get 1 win in 1.16 and he win 100k
Agreed, which is why I gave the edge to Techno. I can’t confidently say Techno would sweep in 1.8 because I don’t know how good Dream is, but it is possible. I also don’t think Dream has a chance of sweeping Techno considering he has been training with fruit specifically. In 1.8 it’s gonna be 4-1 or 5-0 Techno, and in 1.16 it could be anywhere from 3-2 to Techno, 3-2 to Dream, or 4-1 to Dream. I still think Dream will win 4 though, just because of how clutch Dream is.

i don't think that techno will win once in 1.16. dream have a chance to at leat win 1 in 1.8 so im prodictng either dream will win or a tie (and in MCU the man had full protection diamond armor from his stream donations so its clearly unfair)

I think Techno will pick up more than one 1.16 game. He has been training with Fruitberries who is the best 1.16 pvper in Minecraft. Though I think it will depend on if they are using shields or not.
