Dura ace r9170 shifter, Ultegra 6870 front derailleur, Ultegra r8050 rear derailleur, Ultegra r8000 cassette with r9100 lock ring, Sram rotor with Shimano cap, Sram red crank with Shimano chainring, silver chain with gold quicklink, what a weird combination

Exquisitely built. Did you fabricate the alloy stem/steerer wedge to extend through bearing? I did the same but used carbon/epoxy laminate as I have no machining tools.

Yeah I was wondering about that. Not sure I like that, how strong can the tap he made be?

Surely stronger than the nylon wedge that comes w/stem. I’ve had no issues w/the carbon one I fabricated. I extended the length so that it adds more support/stiffness and extends past both stem clamp bolts.

Great work, much attention given to the bike build! Where did you get the metal insert to fill the hole between the d-shaped steerer and stem so you can use standard stem (and ACR/DCR bars)? Thanks!
