What a great video! I've been planning to do this same mod, but I was holding off hoping for an easier to follow tutorial than Mundo Yakara's. Subscribed!
When I did this same mod for the Super Famicom, I used flush cutters and a solder sucker to remove the pins from the ESP32. Having holes instead of pins made soldering the wires a bit cleaner, but it also let the board sit flush and mount with double sided foam tape without worrying as much about shorts.
@LemSportsinterviews Honestly getting them from Aliexpress vs Amazon will save you a good chunk. I haven't had any issues with emus from there personally. Plus when you look at how expensive a lot of physical Dreamcast games are these days, it's not so bad.
