The bashing of the AC Shadows game is not just because of the Yasuke controversy, but also because of Ubisoft's questionable (anti consumer oriented) Season Pass model for a single player game, giving players access to the game 3 days earlier (with additional content) for $30. It is good that they dropped this now and that everyone can play the game on day 1 when it comes out next year.
The hypocrisy is there bro, It's funny that there's not enough of love for Lee and clementine in the walking dead, who Lee a fully black person and clementine is half black and half Asian, but when it comes to ellie who is a white girl from the last of us, who's is annoying and bratty alot in the first and second game, everybody loves her and she the greatest character every in video games more than clementine. And speaking of that, Clementine's story in the walking dead has a better story and ellie in the last of us.

Another thing is AC has always taken liberties with history. I mean why extreme liberties lol. They didnt even give the story a chance to see if it fit with AC lore . But i will say AC shadows gameplay looked tame imo.
I thought I write some historical facts here: There was only one female swordsman who was actually considered as Samurai, is Chiba Sanako. She was in par and engaged with Sakamoto Ryoma who was a legendary samurai. Rest of japanese female warriors and swordsman were only considered as onnamusha in japanese history. As for Yasuke, he truly wasn't a samurai, neither a swordsman. But it doesn't mean he couldn't fight with weapons. Official history writings states he was more like a bodyguard aka yojimbo. Unlike samurai, yojimbo cannot leave their posture until their lord says so. Yojimbo have to be more skilled than Samurai in order to protect their lord. So in that regard Yasuke wasn't an amateur warrior. It's unknown what was the fate of Yasuke after fall of Oda, but he was the only one who weren't recorded to be killed in battle or executed. Oda most probably let him go to live his life before the fall happened, and that's why there is no record about Yasuke after that. Every Oda's man was killed in battle or captured then later executed. My take about Assassin's Creed Shadows's Yasuke. It's just a game and we all know Ubisoft never really made historically accurate game. Therefore this whole argument about it is stupid 😅

Ubisoft pushed the historical accuracy nonsense, so they brought it on themselves. Could have just said it's ahistorical fantasy and no-one would have had a counter. Ultimately, both Ass Bleed and Ghost of Yong Yea look like boring interactive movie, busy-work bloat games. Ass Bleed series was always overrated. There were games before so-called AAA (Acidic Anal Attack) and there will be games after. Some people need to go beyond the big flashy stuff, if they're disappointed with the current state of gaming. I play older stuff and indies, which focuses on gameplay, not press UP on controller/keyboard as NPC talks, whilst I walk.

It's mostly grifters saying everything is woke. Most people don't care. It just sucks that a lot of grifters are gaining popularity on RU-vid. Gamestuh and other gamers just want a fun game. I'm not really going to buy this game because I'm tired of open world games, so I haven't been buying them. I could care less if the protagonist is a brick house in armor and a helmet, a man, woman, and real looking person (though I admittedly have a preference for more creative designs). Characters don't have to look like models for me to enjoy a game. I'm more excited with these old games getting re released since I never had the chance to play them, and besides emulation, this is as close as we're getting to game preservation in modern-day gaming. The biggest issue with aaa corporations is that they put out iterative games with a lot of the same mechanics, so it's gets very repetitive for me.
I think the reason that the PlayStation Fanboys hate Assassin's Creed shadows as much is because it's not solely just on PlayStation and it's going to be on the Xbox / PC and what they fail to realize is the new ghosts is probably going to be on PC as well maybe day and date or maybe they might just wait for the remake of this new ghost game and put it on PC you know a year after it's released

I will watch reviews on the game but at the end of the day I'm going to play it first to figure out if I like it or not I can't listen to reviews like that anymore and not play the games cuz there's been a couple games that I found that people scratched and they were fantastic games

If we talking about history then Ghost of Tsushima is a bad game. Why? Battles on katanas. Samurai very rare used katanas because they are not effective as a bow, naginata, spear. And its plot about mongols is just a 100% historical fiction. But DCG is 100% ok with it. But he blame AC Shadows for not been a 100% historical accurate. Ridiculous.
The reason they pushed Assassin's Creed Shadows that was because of the bad publicity that they had and they figured it's going to flop if they release it now right after the release of Star Wars failure and this is really the only game that I feel like Ubisoft has that it's not going to push them off the ledge because their shareholders and stuff like that the money is going down and the company is about to crack man. Oh the influence of African culture goes deeper than this. Ancient African cultures spread far across Asia to colonize it, going as far as Japan itself. So Yasuke's significance goes deeper than the modern historians want to admit. Came across some good RU-vid history channels and such. All the same I'm tired of the thinly veiled ethnic prejudice (I don't like the word racism cause we're the same race, the human race), and sexism happening in gaming. There's plenty of room for characters from a wide sorts, to let everyone connect to gaming more deeply and have fun.
