Their acting once they turned zombies was really good. Everything was on point, makeup, outfits, acting, facial expressions, the set and lighting,.. and well the whole representation of them as zombies was absolutely awesome. It made me feel like I was watching a movie. So damn cool.
Seriously, that was blockbuster quality. Thier makeup artists are fantastic. Only a couple more extreme looks I didn't vibe on, but the rest has been pretty stunning.

I don't say this to be mean but I genuinely loved this moment - at 0:55, the back right dancer can be seen cracking up. It's honestly hilarious and I only just spotted it after reading your comment. Can we appreciate the high quality this has? Most groups just wear simple costumes while dancing in their practice room (nothing wrong with that, i love it) but Dreamcatcher really went above and beyond with this video.

But fyi, this is not a dance practice so you cant compare it with other groups dance practice (they actually also did the dance practice version, which they also wear a casual outfit for that). At the beginning, I was slightly disappointed that Dreamcatcher themselves weren't the zombies. Then I saw how they nailed their 'noble' part, and I was sold. Then the bridge happened...

Yes, insomnias are the most spoiled fandom indeed. This is the first time, I thought zombies were hot. Gosh I'd let them eat my brain. The fact that they wore male hanboks is just chef's kiss. Everything about this mv is wow. Kudos to the back up dancers, the girl's acting, the make up, the stylists, I LOVE YOU DREAMCATCHER, I LOVE YOU DREAMCATCHER COMPANY, I LOVE YOU, INSOMNIAS.
Honestly, so many aspects need praise here. 1. BOCA promotions have ended. Happyface still spending money on it. Which other agency is willing to do that? It's clearly all for the fans, Happyface needs a praise here. 2. Charisma, just too strong here, especially Gahyeon's samurai look. 3. All other girl groups care about their idol image on MVs, need to look pretty, need to look cute, need to look sexy, or need to be a mix or all of these things. Dreamcatcher just went full on zombie make up and disregarded their appearance as a girl group. The last zombie concept I remember was from T-ara's Lovey Dovey, but that was still very light on the zombie make up (and this is not a criticism, because that remains as one of my favourite MVs from T-ara and second generation K-pop) so Dreamcatcher definitely took the zombie theme a step further. Also, female idols wearing male outfits for an MV, just another thing that they cared more about the content than their image as an idol group. Praises all round for this. 4. The other dancers all had the zombie make up, all together, this would have taken a lot of time to prepare, which again, shows Happyface are so willing to invest into Dreamcatcher without a real gain, as the promotions have already ended. Now that Handong's back, I can't wait to see the version with Handong in.
@@DanteLovesPizza it gives off a lot of misogyny. It's obvious that you're trying to compliment dream catcher for their ability to to be very powerful in their performances. But it comes across as very "they're not like other girls". Dreamcatchers concept is rock, it is powerful, it's kind of dark in places. In my opinion this video is them staying exactly as their image is. To say that other girl groups worry so much about being cute or being sexy because that's their image as if it's a bad thing sounds very gross. Their idols their entire career is built on their image whether you meant it that way or not that third comment to me came across as gross. we can complement people without also having to drag other people. Especially being able to compliment women without also having to insult traditionally "girly" things
Jiu's "snapped back" move at 2:35 the beginning of the bridge is just flawless. That's our leader and lead dancer right there. Great actor in the making.
I love how they modified the choreography to be more zombie-like. They could have easily danced normally with zombie get-up, but they took it 1 step further. :D

There is no limit to what Dreamcatcher can pull off. MVP style from Dami and Gahyeon from me but they all look fantastic. The tonal shift in the performance is sooo good too. Their stage presence is overwhelming and someone on Reddit mentioned "eye charisma". That to me is a quintessential Dreamcatcher trait: they can emote whatever they want with just a look and you know that if they wanted to go fatal, you'd be dead in a heartbeat. Superb performance from the queens once again.
