Actually they did shorter belting here because they were moving. They have a "band live" version with live instruments from it's live, there all of them held the note for full length. 5 of them did the high note here, and actually in the showcase version Handong does it as well when the main vocalist is missing, and the final high note is done by the main DANCER. So yeah, they have been working on their vocals for almost a decade now.

dreamcatcher \:D/ it's a little deceptive since they tone down the choreo for the one who's doing the high notes. the choreo has the person doing the high note dancing but here they are just standing still doing the high note with the exception of the very part with siyeon who is really insane. this clip is also one of the very rare clips you hear raw vocals without backing track for a choreo performance. if you check out the other dancear performances by other groups, there's reverb and even autotune added to the vocals. check out more of their songs! a lot of their songs are connected in a themed series. justice is part 2 of their villians/virtuous series where ootd is part 1; it's basically about greed that stems from excess in today's culture/society. there's also the apocalypse trilogy(maison, vision, bon voyage), the dystopia trilogy(scream, boca, odd eye), and the nightmare series(chase me, goodnight, fly high, you and I, what, piri).
This performance is so good, it's a rare example of raw vocals in K-Pop and they still sound excellent while dancing. Definitely recommend checking out the EP if you want to hear some more of their songs. It's only 5 songs in total, an instrumental intro which sets the mood, Justice, and 3 b-sides. IvyShy also provided you guys with a great list of their main title track series. I'll add Deja Vu and BEcause to that list as they are not tied to any overarching storylines but are excellent title tracks.
+1 to the suggestion to check out their VirtuouS EP - Justice isn't even Dreamcatcher at their full power, just them casually eating CDs for breakfast. You still have lunch, dinner, dessert to go. They have a vast discography, I believe over 100 songs and they're all fire. It's a bit of a choose your own adventure, whatever genre you're in the mood for, there will probably be a song for you guys. Their title tracks are going to be typically rock based or a rock + X fusion, whereas their b-side tracks are going to be a surprise. Also don't skip the 'Intro' tracks, its part of the listening experience.
Thank you for your reaction, maybe it"s a little premature for you, but if you want to try something really different with dreamcatcher, try to watch "silent night" live by Dreamcatcher, just because it's fun and because they're born to be on stage and it show.
If you like their vocals, do a reaction for VirtuouS EP , only 4 songs (3 left), but all 4 was ranked as best track of the EP by at least two individual so I am curious how you guys would rank them. (Hint, for me Justice is rank 3 and I love it and would put it easily among the best 5 dreamcatcher title tracks, but 75% of my playlist consists of their B-Sides..) 2 rings has a live showcase version (look for dreamcatcher cam, 8K version that is more revealing :) ) fully reaction safe from their official channel. For Firefly and Stomp do the color coded, as especially with firefly they are packed with double - triple harmonies and really fun to see how they combine their voices. Have fun.
The colour coded lyrics are wrong for both fireflies and stomp and 2 rings showcase doesn't show off Siyeon's twang. I think the line distribution videos by random k are better.

They dance and sing at the same time - with these high and long notes. Incredible. And yet they are almost unknown in Korea. What other girl group can do that? It's ok if you have different taste in music, but talent needs to be recognized. Or am I the idiot?
