The most common proportion is 7.5 heads. Is a big point when learning to draw anatomy. 8 reads is really an "ideal". The fact they chose the 8 heads one, probably is related to that idea for female idols to be pretty they need to have a really small face and long legs. (But all their standard are pretty much the idealized or the most difficult to reach.)

but all the girls are not so much in korea standards, if you are a fan of kpop you know that they only consider 90% or above if you are like the irene of red velvet, then it is normal to have a small percentage even though it is beautiful

Remember that even if this is the korean standar that doesn't mean they're not considered pretty in Korea. For example, in my country Dreamcatcher doesn't follow the standar neither but if they randomly appeared walking throught my town people would be: 👁️👄👁️
You wanna talk about a group whose visuals fit their concept perfectly, Dreamcatcher is it. Not just anybody can look that goddamn good while pulling off that dark and charismatic style, but every DC member does it every single time. As far as beauty standards go, they appeal more to a Western standard anyway, especially Siyeon with her amazing jawline.

It's not like they don't try to follow the standards they're like any other group and try their best. But there are things you can't fix and are stuck with, like your height and bone structure.
I don't think Korean care that much about beauty standard. but some people like to use beauty standard as excuse to call idol ugly. people call their idol pretty despite the idol visual are quite far from Korean beauty standard. but call the idol they hate as ugly despite that idol only slight thing that didn't fit beauty standard. I forgot the idol name, but she get alot of appreciation for her beauty despite not fitting the beauty standard.

I don't mean that they don't care about beauty. cause they do. but they didn't really score it with beauty standard that much. I might be killed if I said this. but I don't think hwasa is really pretty visually. she's average. I think I just think that way cause her older fashion and hair doesn't suit her. cause her current look are pretty. hwasa is also really charismatic. and the most important thing about idol is not look but charisma.

siyeon’s visual is like... unique. she has the mix of every beauty standards set in each country and is really pretty. i’m even surprised she only fills in 50% of the korean beauty standards when she’s THAT pretty

All of them are visuals even if they don’t fit the standard but they all have a main focus so like Sua & Jiu Dance Handong, Yoohyeon & Siyeon vocals Dami & Gahyeon Rap But also for some people Dreamcatcher debut on 2017 but 5 members Jiu, Sua, Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Dami debuted in 2014 or 2015 the group was name Minx and the concept was Cute but then the company redebuted and added Gahyeon and Handong so that means the 5 members have not as much time as Handong & Gahyeon on their contract
jiu is very beautiful and I think it is fair for her to take on the role of visual, she is so underestimated when it comes to positions that insomniacs always forget that she is a leader, visual, lead dancer and lead vocal. she deserves the world :( for me siyeon and handong deserved to be visual too
I'd actually say that in general (for all these videos), Koreans also really like monolidded eyes as well so long as they are big... probably even better than smaller double eyelids. Also, I wouldn't discount pair shaped body types either. Most of the idols that fit the Korean "honey thighs" trend tend to be slim pair shaped, so I think it's fair to count that type as well.
Eventhough their body proportion or their beauty a bit far from korean standard, but that's doesn't mean they're not a good looking person. Tbh, at the first time i knew about them, i adore how can all members look so beautiful and unique. Their look really visual pleasing and i thought they've mix blood or smth. Their glow up to this recent cb really chef kiss!!.

For the first time I watched their MV, 'Piri', I was shocked. 'What on Earth there is a girl group with such beauties exist??? A group of seven visuals' and the MV is no joke, it was beautifully made with Grammy awards/Oscar awards movie standards! By the way what made them stands out it's also because of their visuals are outstanding, really easy to get distinctive differentiations from other girl groups or artists. They are like somehow a group of Asian Baby Girls, which is really rare in K-pop industry or even Asia.
Yoohyeon is the most perfect female beauty I have ever seen in my entire life. Like the only perfect, flawless, divine perfection of beauty. And she only rates a 50% in Korea. Lol.

tbh for me whatever dc lacks in beauty they make up for in talent by the dozen. the more i watch them on stage and in their vlives and variety shows the more attractive they become to me. it’s saddening to me to see how much hate gahyeon used to get for her weight, she was still a teen then and was growing so i can’t imagine how much stress she got from that
i find it really weird how you said that sua and sihyeon have a long face when idols like mina, wonyong, somi and joy are said to have "small faces" when all 6 of them pretty much have the same face size.
