25:47 Yup like that comment you read said “HanDong is the only member who can tease Sua and get away with it.” The reason why is because Sua is so soft when it comes to HanDong that she’s not as aggressive towards her like she is with the other members, normally when Sua laughs she tends to hit people but at 20:13 she was going to hit HanDong but she stopped herself from doing so cause it’s HanDong. (She’ll still sometimes hit/push HanDong as she does with the other members but she’s a bit more controlled when it comes to HanDong) Sua is considered to be the mom of the group and HanDong is considered to be the favorite child of the group(pretty sure Insomnicsy also has a video called “HanDong being Dreamcatcher’s favorite child”) SuaDong are one of my favorite pairings in the group because both of them kinda balance each other out, whenever Sua is with HanDong she tends to be a bit more calm while HanDong tends to be a bit more chaotic, and both of them together give off comfortable and cozy vibes that is just heartwarming/endearing to watch(I love watching lives with these two.)
I love their relationship so so much! I love that, just like you said, they balance each other out and that they show sides of them that are not as common! I need to watch the video about Handong being the favorite child asap 🥺🥺
@@maesreacts_Yea all the members are super soft for HanDong(maybe Yoohyeon not as much[don’t get me wrong Yoohyeon is definitely still soft for HanDong] cause they kinda roast each other a lot lmao) but especially the unnie line are extremely soft for HanDong. Jiu and Sua being the “parents” in Dreamcatcher you can already figure out how those two are with HanDong(“favorite child” right) and if I’m remembering correctly after HanDong came back to Korea, Siyeon was stuck to HanDong like glue for a while and it was so heartwarming/endearing and cute so see her cling onto her. Speaking of Siyeon, HanDong’s first live when she came back to Korea(this is one of my favorite Dreamcatcher lives) Siyeon joined her live and omg the way Siyeon just looked at HanDong with so much love was so freaking cute. Insomnicsy has a video of it titled “Welcome to HanDong’s live” and it’s with Siyeon ft. Yoohyeon. You’ve seen clips of that live(7:30) it’s the one where both HanDong and Siyeon have the same blonde hair. (And all the times you’ve seen clips of it you got attacked which is understandable lol)
Handong, being Chinese, has a different sense of humor and she says things that Koreans would never say. Sua loves that aspect of her personality. Sarcasm is something that Koreans rarely use because it's considered really rude, but Handong does it a lot. She gets away with it because she does it in such a cute way. Sua does get mad at her sometimes, but Sua's temper just flares for an instant and then it's gone. They really are the most fun together. Handong also loves to tease Yoohyeon so they're also a good match.
I love them together and I also really love when groups have members from different countries because it adds to the “flavor” of the group, these two cultures are really similar but really different at the same time and I love seeing these differences 🥰
Handong and Sua became noticeably closer during their 2023 US tour when they were roommates. Sua's Vlogs from that tour are hilarious. Handong was calling Sua unnie and she was accepting it despite the age difference.
Handong was separated from the group for about three days in September due to visa issues, and she was sad and saying how much she missed them. They really can't be separated after that experience lol. It's very very sweet
They were apart enough and they don’t want to do that again hahaha Even if I am sad they had to go through that, that situation really made them inseparable 🥺
Handong, the only member that doesn’t get SuA’s pushes, bites, hits no matter what she says or does. Being a Leo and an Aries, Fire signs they have a very fun chemistry. They even roomed together during one of the tours.

Yeah, and she apparently is 'sensitive' to noise in the dorm, to the point the girls watch how loud they walk. I joke that jiu is the dad with her corny dad jokes & let's the 'kids' pretty much get away with everything. She doesn't scold them for speaking informally 😂
Sua best mom! People love to meme about how funny/silly she is and how she's "strict". But she also really is one of the most affectionate people in the group. She clearly loves her members so much :')
i was a somnia since late 2017 early 2018 and the time where Handong wasnt there was truly so sad for all of us i remember i had a thread on twitter where i come crying about missing Handong every single day and all the somnias would be there crying together
